This randomly pooped up in my Youtube feed when I had some What Culture Star Trek shit on in the background at work. I'm not familiar with this channel, and I can't speak to how accurate it is, maybe his whole shtick is he's inaccurate or something, but I thought it was pretty funny:

I thought you were speaking facetiously as an excuse to make fun of Doomcock.

IQ = (mental age / chronological age) * 100

If Q were billions of years old and has an IQ of 2005, his mental age is older than that of the universe?

Am I the only Trekkie who finds "Trouble with Tribbles" a tad over rated?
It's funnier the more times you see it and read up on the backstory on it.
1st time = Hahaha Tribbles + wow Klingons are ugly
2nd time = Hahahaha there's some stagehand throwing Tribbles onto Bill Shatner
3rd time = probably in some flashback DS9 episode in which case hahahaha man the 60's sure were embarrassing yet cool, right guys?

Charlie Brill's reaction to being scouted while out for pizza:
"Imagine if I'd ordered a whole meal. I'd be a regular."
The look on the time agents when they hear Kirk's name. They exchange a look which says, We HATE the Kirk cases.

Question for fans of all levels: does any trek fan honestly like "The Search for Spock" at all? I jokingly gave a copy of it on DVD to a friend.. who almost gave it back to me..and she is a bigger trek fan than I am.

I thought it was fine. It suffers in comparison to Wrath of Khan but there are far worse Star trek movies out there.

I don't know what eight year old me was thinking.

Kirstie Alley did not return. Saavik is our pointman. I think we can all agree that Robin Curtis was well-cast, but her story arc was dead in the water without Kirstie.

Then we meet Kirk's son. I'm actually grateful they killed him off. Not a patch on his old man.

It had several strikes against it.

Kirstie Alley did not return. In hindsight, this was a dodged bullet. But at the time, it really subtracted from the drama. Saavik is our pointman, but nobody in the audience cares that this rando is trapped on a planet. A pity; I think we can all agree that Robin Curtis was well-cast.

Then you have Kirk's son; another dweeb I don't care about. I'm actually grateful they killed him off. Not a patch on his old man.
It's mostly cheap and confusing to re cast any actor for the exact same role. If they wrote Savvik out..and made a new character for Robin Curtis, I would not have minded at all. Regarding Kirk's son; yeah, he was a poorly written character that no one cared about in 3. Both those poorly written characters were another reason I just can't stand this movie. The story and script are unbearable.

I think the movie gets a bad rap. For years, kid me was thinking that they were to save Spock, but adult me realized their mission was to pick up his dead body because they didn't bury him right. So it actually is touching that the crew would go to these lengths when it would have been much easier to move on with their lives.

Also, it's a movie that calls Uhura old to her face. That takes balls.

Strange how the TOS cast aged better than TNG's. Picard's crew is in the same range, but they age like milk.

Plinkett raised the point that Picard and the others were put into action roles, which doesn't suit them at all:
