There might be something to that, the girlboss mode in movies really kicked in that I can think of with it. It's hard to believe that TFA was Dec 18 2015. Off the top of my head I would've thought it came out after that election, but damn it's been a long time.

It is because his deadpan performance + good writing + solid supporting cast made him great in Nacros and he's been riding that ever since.

Adding this, he is a Spic but with lots of Conquistador phenotype, so you can use him to get your mandatory Ethnic Injection, and that's why he's in everything.

He’s also juiced in, bro parties with the movers and shakers, blows them and he’s undoubtedly easy to control with dirty laundry.

Throw in that women like him and through that he’s a vector to get them watching male franchises and you have the perfect engineered leading man for the modern film.

I had a chance to rewatch the original trilogy and not only it really holds up, but a lot of the criticisms people make never existed. Like Luke being a good pilot is called on multiple times, or the Death Star weakness being incredibly well defended and pretty much impossible to hit without using the force.

The acting is also a lot more natural. Scenes like Luke and Han acting like guards on the Death Star have a ton of body language, and a lot of movement are more clumsy like real people do. Modern cinema is too stilted.

It also shows how much charisma black hole modern actors are, that I can see no current day actor doing the part without falling into an annoying cliché.

I know he has a fanclub of femcels slicking to him, I personally have never known any white (or black) women irl or online* who found him noticeably sexy. Or if they do they don't mention it.
But he's also not hideous so its not like he's a negative.

*(and by Online I mean "people who I interact with on a personal level in online spaces" not just people posting cringe shit on reddit or substack articles.)

Wait, the Mandalorians were based off of Jews? I get zero Jewish vibes from them.

Also, no way Trump would be friendly to the Mandalorians if he was in Star Wars. Trump would be an Imperial Governor taking visible bribes from the Hutts to keep his planet wide casino operations from collapsible.

The Mandalorians in the Mando show. Jon Favreau based them on Jews.

The TCW Mandos are based off of Nazis. (most have blonde hair and blue eyes, a warlike past that modernists are trying to walk away from) Karen Traviss Mandalorians are based on the Celts. The KOTOR-era Mandalorians are a weird mix of Crusaders and Spartans.

I don't think Trump can make it as an Imperial governor. He fucks up once, and Vader/Sidious would choke him to death through the holo.
