Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

starfield on gamepass, so everyone who has gamepass plays starfield. maybe.
Yes a lot of it is people from gamepass people. That is why they say "players" and not "sales". Patriciantv talked about this phenomenon on Xbox exclusives

It's been a problem for a decade at least. Back then it was people with 8 year old laptops raging because they can't play games on High with DirectX 10 features. "But it's a Dell!" they would say as if that mattered.

Now it's people that think that because they overpaid for a 3090 during the height of the GPU shortage, every game should play at 4k 144fps with super sampling on Ultra, even though if they played on High settings at 60, they wouldn't notice the difference. Don't make me link the 2kliksphilip video again.

I agree with you in general, but in this game settings just dont make a difference for performance, except shadows. I think some of them are outright bugged because honest to god they do nothing for visuals or performance.

And the game is pretty cpu limited, even the best cpus on the market can't mantain 60fps

Okay good news I figured out what structure has "stairs" it's the cabot series nova cockpits, I have no idea where it spawns, so that means it's level locked. Beyond 50 because thats when i was paying attention.

Bad news: there's a module limit that you can reach easily by trying to add structures so your ship doesn't look like a brick especially for windows, which sucks. On the bright side stealing ships is actually pretty lucrative. So I got fucktons of money from doing that. Also crafting shitty food, but whatever.

Anyways here's my ship. This is the best i can do when hitting the limit.

Follow up to my last post. This post here was banned for pointing out you can block the tranny modder.

And this wasn't a hit and run account either, this was one created in 2006.

Just pointing out how you can block a progressive mod on Nexus is enough to warrant a ban.
Aww... I see Dark0ne is doing everything he can to please his side piece Elianora. Sorry Robin but unless you're a train full of black felons Elianora won't let you near her rancid vagina and will only use you to be the queen bee of Nexus Mods.

Do you have to have an account on that forum for the DLSS 3 mod crack?

>it's in space
>it has niggers in it
>it's bugged as fuck
>most planets are likely empty
>it's a giant chain of chores, likely
Going back to EVE seems more and more as an alternative to this crap, ngl.

They weren't worth $60 in 2022, and they weren't worth $50 on PS1. Those very high prices came from the days of ROM cartridges costing a fortune in the 80s and 90s, when the likes of Secret of Mana cost $80 in 1994
I don't remember the exact price, but when Street Fighter 2 for super nintendo first came out, it was between $80-$90 iirc. It was ridiculous, though not surprising that they inflated the price since it was a decent home version of the most popular arcade game ever.

Would be nice to see some smaller BSG ships like the Manticore get remade in this. For some retarded reason they don't do fighter or capital ship combat, but I'm sure that is coming with mods.

I haven't played that much so far, but I like how corpses you find actually look like they've been dead for a while. There's a mod for New Vegas that basically does the same thing and makes them look decomposed as opposed to just taking a nap on the floor.

I'd figure it was $80, I have a distinct memory of the more expensive SNES games being $80.

Wouldn't put it past them to consider anyone who is signed up for the GamePass to be a "Starfield Player" even if they haven't opened it.
SteamDB says:

So let's ballpark it at 300k sales on Steam. That leaves a good 5.7 million on Xbox, I guess? And whomever bought it on Microsoft Store for PC. Yeah, you're probably right.

Speaking of which:

3.2? Ouch, lol.

So let's ballpark it at 300k sales on Steam.
No, I think its much higher than 300k. Probably somewhere from 500k to 1 million. Remember that not the same people are playing at the same time, so the average 250k is different people at different times, so anywhere from 2 to 4 times the average player count is probably a better guesstimate. The amount of reviews is pretty small for a game this big, 26k as of writing this, where as other big AAA games get over 100k pretty fast.

For reference, Armored Core, which came out a week before Starfield's early access and is considered a smaller release, has 32k reviews (and an 87% score next to Starfield's 82% lol)

Edit: I just realized the Starfield key art is just them copying the Star Trek movie posters. They really just copied everything

So, some Sony Fanboy dipshits are calling for some woman wo works at the Santa Monica Studio be fired for daring to play Starfield.

It's been said before, but anyone who still gives a shit about the "Console War" in 2023 is a fucking retard, and should be mocked. Besides, we all know Nintendo won that fucking thing by actively ignoring it and doing whatever they wanted.

its shocking how close this plays like someone smushed together the outer worlds with NMS at launch. You have the ugly npcs, bizarrely small amount of weapons and armor, and obnoxious amount of load screens of the former with the useless crafting and copy/paste boring planets of the later as well as NMS's ending and New game plus.

I'd be legitimately amazed if mods can fix this, it doesn't seem like fallout 4 had enough mods to fix its fuck ups and fallout 3 had so few in comparison to NV that people just install TTW and hope for the best.
