Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

There really are a lot of black NPCs in Starfield. Like a distracting amount.
Is it Microsoft sanctioned ESG pandering or a bug with NPC spawning? We might never know, and all the mods that even touch it will get banned instantly.
if you had any doubts that Elder Scrolls 6 would take place in Hammerfell...

Niggos in space is always an odd one. If it's set far enough in the future, the nig gene would have been bred out or they would've been Darwined. No spacefaring people would drag it's racial chaff along for the ride. Early space travel would simply be too costly and resources too scarce to waste.

So much for Starfield eclipsing BG3 lol.
BG3 is releasing patches like its 2003 and generally listening to player feedback, so the fanscore maybe a hard to beat one. Though even critics seem less than wowmazed with it.

I guess its hard to top Skyrim, and your future projects are always judged against your previous ones. So not only does it have to beat BG3 but also Skyrim and Morrowind, which is a fucking tough act to follow.

It will definitely do well when it actually releases just due to Bethesda fan loyalty and it being the big AAA game of the month but I am skeptical of the potential overall sales performance considering what people are saying now and due to the fact it doesn't have an existing fan following like Elder Scrolls or Fallout.
I mean, it definitely will sell less than Skyrim or Fallout 4, maybe even Fallout 3 in the worst case scenario because it is an exclusive meaning they can't port to all platforms to maximize sales. They are limited to the New generation Xbox, which has very low sales compared to other consoles and PC which has a strong RPG competition at the moment and it is exclusive to Windows machines

And they call me the racist.

Honestly though, it's a really ugly game. The lighting is particularly bad with awful shadows and a really bad implementation of ambient occlusion. Textures aren't very good either but the character models and animations are what really take the cake. They are just bad, there's really no other way to say it. It doesn't help that there's a heap load of jank and bugs thrown on top of everything. They say it's the least buggy Bethesda game but damn with faint praise if I ever heard it.

I don't think it looks that fun either. The exploration seems incredibly limited with nothing all that interesting to do. Shooting is nothing special and the RPG mechanics look equally mediocre with dialogue being a low point.

The year is 2330. The Free System lives under NEGRO RULE. All huwyte males are sissified. Huwyte girls live to serve AFRICOON KINGS in vast reproduction facilities. Welcome to Bethesda's STARFIELD.

KIWI remembers life before the NIGGIFICATION– before the DEI-issued hormones, the sissy wigs, frilly lingerie, and mandatory chastity. He lives on the war-torn outskirts of NEW DETROIT, where he hides his beautiful blonde step-sister, Aleksandra, from the clutches of the brutal JIGABOO army.

As musclebound MELANATED soldiers prowl the starfields searching for fertile huwyte women, Kiwi will stop at nothing to protect sweet Aleksandra's purity. With his dark hair, flirty sissy skirt, and fishnet stockings, Kiwi gives his tender TROLL body to a gang of pitiless GOLLYWOG soldiers: the ultimate act of courage and sacrifice. But is sissy KIWI prepared for the overwhelming demonstration of chimpout and T-posing? The encounter brings him face-to-face with his worst fears... and his most unspeakable sissy fantasies.

Acclaimed developer and pro domme sissy fetishist TODD presents a tantalizingly political vision of the future. Her powerful, vivid, fly-on-the-wall passages of three-on-one interstellar monkey-on-sissy action push the boundaries of sensual fiction. The NIGGER KINGS have their way with KIWI's sissy body, pumping and pounding and cursing through one of the hottest gang scenes in the history of the genre. And interspersed throughout the sizzling prose, a suspenseful narrative full of imaginative world-building unfolds.

Experience the true power of WEWUZ KANGZ in black spacesuits. Prepare to pay the ultimate reparations. Explore the mind-bending world of Starfield Stare, the first game in TODD's brand new series...

It's like they tried to copy Nomanski using their shitty engine by using Fallout 4 assets, and then snorted weed for 6 years.
Then forgot that "Fallout 4 in space" means there should be space combat, so they just made your character wear a spaceship as a hat, again.

Does the game have gibbing of any kind? All the gameplay I've seen doesn't have it, and the ragdolls seem very weightless now.

Just finished the torrent, why is there 17gb of BA2 files for just facial animations? How abysmal is their file compression or storage management?

File size optimization is a dead art in a lot of modern big games. Expect gigantic data storage for the most mundane of things typically.

Just keeping it in the realm of the Bethesda while keeping in mind the changes in technical changes in details and graphics in the past few years:
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, released in 2016: 12 GB
Fallout 4 , released in 2015: 30 GB (add 58 GB for the optional HD texture pack)
Fallout 76, released in 2018: 80 GB
Starfield, released in 2023: 125 GB

It's funny because the Digital Foundry video on it say's it's bug free and well optimised.
