Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

>SSD Required
>game still functions (shittily) on a hard drive

This is so funny. They're basically just admitting that they're fucking retarded and can't optimize for shit. I wish the steam hardware survey tallied up SSD vs HDD usage, so you could see exactly what percentage of their playerbase they're cucking. This is like when the xbox one was always online, people complained, some faggot from microsoft told them "we have a console for people without internet connections, it's called the xbox 360". Absolutely out of touch. DLSS and its consequences have been a disaster for the PC master race.

And don't forget, games cost $70 now.
That's just it. It isn't optimized. Its like they tried to get actual streaming loading working in their cell-based engine, and when that was too hard kept the cells but also never bothered to load things into cells, instead just streaming everything right from the drive whenever they feel like it.
I ran an SSD on my old 4th gen Haswell with a 960 in it. I haven't used an HDD for main storage since ~2012? This year I finally switched to SSD as main and secondary storage (although, with the size of games, I'm starting to think I underestimated how much storage I really need, terabytes just aren't what they used to be). I only use HDD for long term warm and cold storage now.
That's actually my situation. I finally upgraded to a 1TB SSD instead of an HDD for a primary drive this year, but even so I've still got a 2TB HDD that's 3/4 of the way full as my actual data storage drive. Hell, even my Windows system drive is halfway full with god knows what. I am tempted to upgrade since $100-$150 for an SSD is within my price range but certainly not for Starfield.
The artifacts are just word walls, they even play the music as you get near them.
Oh yeah, when I stepped out into the planet surface after waking up in the cave it played a remixed version of the FO4 Vault exit track. They've recycled so goddamn much in this game.

I didn't know I was afraid of this, but I am terrified of Bethesda romance options.

These are like Baldur's Gate 3 quirky repeating what the NPC said but flirty, its awful.

I feel like I'm on cloud 9. Everyone is so autistically mad that this is just fallout 4 in space, which was obvious if you arent an actual fucking retard, yet people went ahead and pirated it anyway and are mad that it's exactly what it was always going to be.

Further proving my point that the majority of bethesdas fanbase are retards who hate play the games just to whine on the internet for updoots for 10k hours before logging in another 5k with mods.

Meanwhile normal people just aren't playing the game at all, and saving themselves needless frustration over an insignificant video game.

Shame about the pronouns and all the niggers, though.

The launch isn't looking to be quite as disastrous as No Mans Sky or Cyberpunk was, but yet another game does not live up to the hype. I feel sorry for all the idiots who once again bought into Bethesda's lies.

So, for those who've been playing, are we still at the level of:
>Yes
>Yes (Sarcastic)
>Yes (More information)
>No (Yes)

as the default dialogue options?
Worse, we have
>Yes
>Yes (More Information)
>No

They even added the "diplomacy wheel" from oblivion. Like I said literally everything bad from each game.

My bigger issue is that they're asking 70 fucking bucks. What the fuck did they think would happen?

This bullshit and the writer's strike is fucking pissing me off, the balls of these useless talentless hacks to ask for more money and this is what the give? Holy shit.

My expectations were low but holy fuck was I not ready for what is actually happening.

I was expecting some broken mess of a game, but what we got is even worse: a bland and boring pile of slop which looks like it was A.I. generated to fit ESG guidelines and engineered to look dull and forgettable.

How the mighty have fallen.

My excuse is that I'm bored and by playing the main story I can call it shit without people saying I haven't played it. I did the same with Zelda, but I guess there is no winning either way.

Eh for me the game runs worse than Cyberpunk. I would take it over Star Citizen any day of the week, still, I was hoping it would at least run okey with better graphical options.

Just optimise it pls!

Atleast this time your character isn't voiced, so you don't have to hear the cringe.
In Fallout 4, they actually voiced the shitty, corny lines how California troons think romance and courtship works.
>Lockpick often
>Have 3 conversations about basic backstory
>I wuv you, you are everything I could want, let's proceed adventuring

anything vaguely approaching real romanticism would get screeched at for being problematic. also todd can't write for shit, been that way since he hired his buddies to voice act the fo3 npcs

That's nothing, how about hiring his buddy (Emil Pagliorulo) to write the story for FO3, Skyrim, FO4, FO76 and Starfield?

Nope, apparently the whole "morrowind in space" thing was a huge lie, and a very OPTIMISTIC summary of the game.

It's fallout 4 in space, with the plot of skyrim, with the depth of Fallout 76, with the Dialogue of ESO.
Quite literally, everything bad about each game - distilled into one game in an attempt to emulate nomanski.
Unfortunately we don't live in the timeline where Starfield's Lead Writer was Michael Kirkbride.
