How do you think Starfield will turn out?

You know Starfield sucks nigger balls when everyone starts talking about Fallout 3/NV. Instead of playing Starfield I've started a playthrough of Daggerfall with my Redguard knight George Floyd. What other games are you guys playing instead of Starfield?

I ended up doing all the factions because god damn it I paid for a month on xbox live and I was going to use it. I finally beat the game too. The big thing that I noticed is that once Starfield is done, it's DONE. There's nothing left to do once you've finished off the main factions other than stumble around radiant quests and fight the same enemies over and over again. An argument could be made that Skyrim is the same thing but Skyrim was packed with tons of little side quests that someone took the time to write, even if they're not that good they're still there. Starfield's side quests are, "hey man... go grab this box for me" and then you go grab the box and give it to the guy and nothing else happens.

In any case all they had to do was include aliens so coomers could go be Captain Kirk and bang green alien women and they'd be heralded as GOTY. Worked for BG3 after all.

Wait what is that really a thing what the fuck?
Yes, and it was made by a certified Antifa member. His other mods are hilarious too, you need to be signed in to see the wonderful world of sex mods he chose to explore(and "fix" for being too problematic)

Not going to go into calling Maxson a "fascist' for doing what literally every other branch of BOS has done since it's inception, just look into that guy's profile to see the average person who holds your opinion on this.

BTW there is two mods that let you take care of Maxson problem in the way you described, one is called "Project Valkyrie" that lets you actually throw your weight around as leader of various factions and cut various alliances, including BOS + Institute. I also highly recommend the "Save Father" mod from the same person that lets you save Shaun's life via various methods, from using Kellogg's cybernetics to donating a vial of Mysterious Serum, reverse engineering the Vault 81 medical journals to find a proper cure for cancer or even turning him into a super mutant by using one of the FEV samples and giving him a bit of karma, you can actually properly deal with this dilemma like an actual RPG would, or you can still let him die if that's your thing. If he survives, he's even a proper companion in the post game, hell the mod even gives you a holotape you can play at the end to get those voiced ending slides that every other Fallout game has at the end based on your decisions and another holotape that lets you kill any essential character via executions when they're sitting on the ground, just because the dude felt like it.
The other mod lets you or Danse overthrow Maxson as the Elder, which is part of scrapped content altho I don't know how much that actually effects the game. I forgot what it was called, but it's pretty neat, looks like there was going to be a lot more nuanced end game where your decisions would matter a whole lot more. Not sure if it was cut due to Emil's "KISS" philosophy, laziness or lack of time but it's a shame

What if, and hear me out on this, we just keep using them as slaves?

It's not like they're real people.

There is literally no reason on God's Earth why the Synths should have human intelligence. Why do you need to make a janitor robot sapient? It is a fancy roomba why the fuck are you inflicting existence on it?

Lmao holy fuck this is a whole new level of seething at video games thanks for telling me. I was expecting just some random killing of Maxson but this so much funnier and deranged. This dude made a whole fucking NKVD purge list for you to go down holy shit.

Doesn`t surprise me that there are mods to fix Emil's absolute dog shit story, but I can't say I will ever bother to play FO4 ever again to try it.

That same person made an honest to god amogus quest mod, with it's own vault and impostor and everything. Then, in another instance you have a shitload of "gay guns" for every mental illness available, and then he gets all horny and starts making "fixes" to obscure sex mods, such as "removing the N words"(mod not even available on Nexus anymore due to ridiculous levels of racism) or making a list of everyone he thinks is a rapist or unwholesome misogynist in another specific sex mod so you can kill them too(sex workers are fine and hecking valid, obviously). Best one in that regard is his TTW sex mods, where you have such award winning descriptions of each companion's sexualities such as "(Star Paladin Cross) is a minority in every sense of the word". Brilliant, really gets you in the mood for some romance.
Peak Fallout modcow, I suggest everyone who wants a good laugh checks this dude out for himself. He also has a podcast which is probably about leftist politics more than about video games, so there might be some more milk from him yet.

That guy who made the un-diversify mod for Fallout 4 really needs to step his game up if he wants to win the "waste the most time modding bad games" award.

Look, you get bored as fuck hanging out in an underground bunker and sometimes you just want to play God, okay?
This is an actual possible reason the institute did this, they're nerds with no Internet and going outside to touch grass is a life-threatening venture.

Another one is that they wanted to beef up the surviving human population for various valid reasons.

I would very happily welcome a cyber-neighbor who could farm Razorgrain, shoot a Super Mutant or fix a generator as well as I could when every pair of helping hands could mean the difference between life and death for my entire community. Not to mention my son is going to be very happy with the cyber-girl who has AI good enough she appreciates cultural things like piecing together pre-war books or dancing to music on one of the two local radio stations.

Fuck that. Human pride worldwide!

But what about Robot Santa, Robot Devil or Calculon?
Robot Santa doesn't drink except while out killing. (it's naughty remember? - only wholesome synthetic fuel) Robot Devil drinks the tears of the tormented and Calculon is Hollywood - all cocaine for him.

That sounds like exactly what was missing from the ending of Fallout 4. I mean you can become the head of the goddamned Institute, let me play with that. There are so many cool things you could have done from that point onward, and Bethesda just sort of left it at that. That and I wanted to go on adventures with the little Shaun synth, have some quality father-son time.

Did that antifa modder posted above just try to dox fictional characters?
He wrote a very convincing wall of text as to why you should kill a 10 year old boy(because he is a nazi)

As for Synths, the reason why they made them humanlike is so they can be both their soldiers and infiltrators on the surface. Institute cannot spare manpower, so they have to create them, compare a Courser vs Gen 1 or 2 in effectiveness in combat, let alone their ability to infiltrate and assassinate/spy on wastelanders. Ironically enough, Institute is doing exactly what people are telling them to do(just get mr handies to do the janitorial duties) since you can overhear a conversation where one of the scientists are saying that all the Gen 1 and Gen 2 synths are slowly getting retired into menial duties around The Institute and taken off wasteland duty. I always figured that sweeping the floors is given to Gen 3s only as a test, to see if they can perform simple duties well and if there aren't any physical or mental problems with them.
Railroad are, ironically enough the bigger villains since they are the ones releasing Synths into the wild and then brainwashing them, leading to the entire big conflict of the game. Institute made it clear they more or less have no escapees at all besides the ones that Railroad captures or (((sets free))) thanks to that one kid they managed to convince in The Institute to help them, unless you've got someone like Harkness who was a top tier Courser and made his own escape Gen 3s are not capable of becoming truly sentient or plan out their escape on their own without outside influences. If Emil was a better writer, there would be so much more room for nuance here, what a shame

But humans are dumb these days. Any pride for humans nowadays?

And what about the robot mafia?

I like how the last few pages have just become a Fallout lore argument and not only a Fallout lore argument but a Fallout 4 lore debate.

That's how fucking boring Starfield is.

It's more ironic than you think 'cus near all the starfield's gunplay was recycled FO4 animations.
Even the Jet Pack is just taken from a FO4's Power Armor specific mod to the chest.
