How do you think Starfield will turn out?

Any predictions for how well Saarfield fares on the PS5? It's releasing at full price and people have had plenty of time to see the reviews and criticisms from PC and Xbox players. I can't see this breathing any real life into such a stillborn franchise and the new DLC looks especially sloptastic. Really, Emil? Radiant quests where you shoot robots instead of generic space people?

Or maybe I'm too optimistic and the average PS5 player is the type of consoomer cattle that'll spend $70 on something as bland as Saarfield.

Considering the PS5 has no fucking games? It unironically might not do badly.

That or the Sony Fanboys will try and boycott it because “It an Xbox Game, reeeee!”, acting like giving a shit about the Console War in 2026 isn’t completely retarded.

Anyone tried the Star Wars mod? It's beautiful but the Starfield gameplay is so awful, I can't play for longer than ten minutes.
Haven't tried it myself but from what I've heard of it it's pretty much still just a really huge re-skin mod. The 'unique main quest' the mod claims to have is supposedly just the Starfield main quest but with all the Starfield terminology crossed out and replaced with Star Wars terminology.

I have no idea how console warriors think, since I am not one, but I would’ve guessed that some of the more fanatical Sony ponies would buy it just to own Xbox. Like a “haha we stole your exclusive” type deal.

No matter what happens, Bethesda will learn all the wrong lessons from this and bury their heads even further in the sand. We’re gonna be seeing levels of delulu from Todd and Emil that you won’t believe.

As mentioned, the writing just takes all the Starfield terms and replaces them with Star Wars. It is marginally better for having actual playable aliens like Nautolans, but it's based heavily on Disney Wars shit, so good luck trying to look cool if you don't like the stuff from the OT. A lot of the same issues, like bullet-sponge enemies and guns feeling awful, are still present.

At least it's better than Outlaws.

I made a post a few months ago about this game, and I did play some more and I was gonna do a big effortpost about it but this game isn't worth it. I had to install this game on my real computer because it kept crashing during the Vanguard quest when you have to go into the basement and talk to Space Obama. I started a new character and got all the starborn powers, and all I gotta say is: DON'T. I had to use the console to get the final couple powers because it wouldn't update the quests and I didn't wanna wait, and some dipshit 3D animator was really proud of their spinny rings and chasing the space spooge that bugs out. The only thing this game does well is passive aggressively waste your time and frustrate you. Like how when you're on your ship, to hail a ship you have to press and hold E, but to respond to a hail you just press E. So you get hailed and your muscle memory gets the better of you, so you press and hold and you gotta watch an unskipable animation of getting out the chair and then you gotta get back in the chair... And since this game is based around fast travel you should have a favorites menu in the map, so you don't have to waste your time navigating the star charts.

The final straw for me was when I mysteriously ended up with a 50K bounty with the UC. I think it was because I went to a POI where the robots killed everyone in the name of efficiency, and they turned aggro on me so I had to lawfully defend myself. I think the only thing that can could save this game is a DUST or FROST like mod, which removes the main story and and turns it into a ultra hardcore survival mod.

So, is this the worst game ever made? In terms of gameplay, no, but in terms of wasted potential and missed opportunity, absolutely! Todd is this alleged designer, with decades of making some of the biggest games of all time. He should have the skills and clout to make something truly amazing, but instead we get this... Instead of making ES6, Micro$lop should just buy the rights to the Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil mod and release that as ES6. I guarantee it would be better than anything Todd and Emil could cook up!

GOOOOOD MORNING SAARS.
Redeem the Terran Armada DLC for the bethesda next-gen game Saarfield, saars.
