How do you think Starfield will turn out?

I keep getting minor incursions

You might need to speak to Delta to progress, it's not obvious. I flew around in circles trying to locate the blue hexagon, only to realize it was pointing at my own spaceship. Or, God help you, you need to endure another hysterical lecture from Roxane.

Or you know? It's bugged to shit. I've nocliped out of one of the Terran starships after starting the self destruct, as the doors were all suddenly shut. I even flew around outside looking for a legit pathway, and there just wasn't one.

i keep forgetting that's the name of the little shit, i call him redditbot because it's supposed to resemble that shitty nu-starwars bot, safe to assume it's because of the star wars megamod pack
if you must copy X4 Foundations yet again, understand why they used the Travel Engine mechanic in the first place
don't even start... devs didn't want SETA until a lot of people complained nor they want to add jumpdrives and that's said on their faggot forums because they want to turn X4 into faggot dangerous o algo...

you can see how lazy saarfield got with the terran robots once you start the quest to meet buck-e as it will lean over a railing and it will look wonky, i forgot to take a picture, also delta looks odd on the old buggy because of these misaligned skeleton issues.

terran ship dungeons usually lock the door behind you and try to guide you through another way to the docking area, the three black boxes do get tiresome though.

I bet Todd is pretty pissed the game he claims he wanted to make for decades was shit on from every angle.

I'm imagining Emil whispering in his ear like Grima Wormtongue to ignore Starfield feedback when making TES6, to make it MORE of a looter shooter with MORE procedural generation and MORE boring ass lore.

Admiral Balewa, a character who I have never met or even heard of before, head of a genocidal fleet of indiscriminate mass murderers who deploy combat robots against unarmed civilians, in the middle of combat... has just attempted to lecture me about oligarchy.

has just attempted to lecture me about oligarchy
"I may be a war criminal, but you're the monster, chud."

Even if we were to give Bethesda an out and say the writing is not the primary focus of their games, that still doesn't excuse how utterly devoid of engagement their games since Oblivion have been.

I never gave a flying fuck about their moral dilemmas, the overarching plot of their games, or the factions therein.

Meanwhile New Vegas manages to make each faction bring forth compelling arguments as to why you would side with them.

NV was released 16 years ago and it continues to mog, humiliate and cuck Bethesda in every way imaginable. I bet Emil and Todd wake up in the middle of the night, bathed in their own sweat, haunted by the nightmare of their own inadequacy.

"I may be a war criminal, but you're the monster, chud."

I've been laughing like an idiot for 20 minutes, the dialogue was so on the nose. That might as well have been verbatim.

Terran Armada In Summary, then: Black Lives Matter fuck around and find out. Which is... actually based? What?!

Oh, and Delta adds 1 to your ship's reactor output when you recruit him after, which is awesome. DLC quest done, good, good! There's one good bit in the final assault when the gravity shuts off mid mass combat, and it's almost breath taking. But overall, meh. So, exactly what you expect from Starfield, then.

exactly what you expect from emil, then.
this shit is him all over it alongside his dangehair cronies, especially the oligarchy talk, not even institute was that fucking stupid with the "you wouldn't understand talk"
the jeets? they are there for a easy paycheck for them and their brahmin relatives, they don't even care about the loss of izzat for working at zenimax/bethesda.

I have been playing game called Spacebourne 2 for few days now. It's a good example what a game with a budget like Starfield could have been. It has everything. Empire building with construction, diplomacy, government building, fleet/army management, taxes, trade, galactic market, exploration, random events, space combat, carriers, capital ships, ground combat and plenty of more cool little things.
Now the quality of this game is very, very, VERY questionable. Systems are unfinished, story is almost nonsense, bought assets, AI voices but I think it's made by one turkish guy so can't expect too much from it. Still it kept me interested for few hours now unlike Starfield.

SB2 is more of a mass effect than saarfield, the one you are looking for is empyrion although empyrion is more of a rust game.
no game tries to be fallout/skyrim space like starfield does so... we only have starfield, until zenimax gets retarded enough to try and make a online version of it, starfield 67 or something because you can bet emil will try to push his retardation in there due to the waiting time for FO5 which is related to TES6 finishing...

Mass Effect is more of a space opera narrative driven rpg game than sandbox space adventure. Unless you are just basing your opinion on the fact that it's 3rd person view then yeah it's more like ME.
Type of game it doesn't matter. Spacebourne was my example of how to make an interesting video game based in space and that Bethesda are untalented hacks.

So according to one analyst, Starfield only sold 140k copies on the PS5 at launch. Those are dog shit numbers for what’s supposed to be a blockbuster AAA game. For reference, the Xbox version sold a million copies despite game pass cutting into sales. This same analyst says it’s likely that the game barely broke even, which is again absolutely pathetic for a studio that used to make these huge, popular open world games.

Also Crimson Desert is on track to beat Starfield’s number of lifetime sales on all platforms. Todd mogged again.

You can tell from the dialog the story was mostly written by baren Karens with how snarky the dialog responses could get. The fact that you cant join the evil faction nor talk with any of them until the very end, AND it being led by a black women of all things, is :lunacy:. Lets not forget all the effeminate men and women being the main players of the game. Felt like i was playing The Outer Worlds 2 again.

Too many cooks
have you seen jeet cooking videos? obviously they have plenty of cooks...

i mean the difference between TWO2 and Saarfield is minimal if you remove the modding capabilities from SF, which is weird because TWO2 had little jeets in the dev team all things considered (UE5).

While I wish that were true, Bethesda ALWAYS doubles down on bad decisions. They’ve done it since Fallout 4 and only concede when something is universally hated like Fallout 4’s voiced protagonist or the Fallout 76 merch debacle. In Todd and the gang’s mind, Starfield is a masterpiece that was 25 years in the making.

Expect radiant quests galore, procedurally generated dungeons, total butchery of the original TES lore and a story with 16x the plot holes in the next Elder Scrolls.

and the gun play in TWO2 is actually good, although I wish they had not changed the way TTD works. It was fun in the first game to shoot at different body parts in slowmo.

Too many cooks and old Bethesda continuing to think that RPG just means numbers go up.
Numbers don't even go up in Starfield, there are no linear stats or skills it just has a perk tree like Fallout 4.
