I honestly hope they do.
They explicitly advertised on a "coomer" experience with "no censorship globally".
The minute that body was covered up in day 1 was the minute the bait turned into a switch.
TBH it's criminal fraud, not civil.

Anyway, gay as fuck they censored. Guess it was the smart move to wait on the purchase. If they uncensor later maybe I'll buy it. For now I'm not supporting duplicitous actions like this.

Shift Up are the ones who promised what they had no power to promise.
It's inconceivable that Shift Up didn't know the reputation of Sony.

Everyone should already know Sony is one of the Kings of censorship.
Yet gamers are consumer cucks that preorder a Sony game and when Sony predictably censors it they cry.
Gamers hailed a game that was going to be published by Sony as some kind of cultural anti-woke beacon, before it was out.

How can anyone take gamers serious when they don't have principles?
I would never in my live give a single cent to Sony, if they make something I really want to check out I might pirate it.
They slaughter devs for fun they are known for censorship and DEI garbage, why would you ever give them any money at all or hail a game published through them as anti-woke anti-censorship?

Let AAA die already.

It’s complicated. It’s certainly not boring, but the combat does get repetitive. I think they should’ve leaned more into DMC combat rather than souls-lite. It’s certainly not nearly as good as Nier automata, despite Yoko taro himself claiming otherwise.

I won’t say I really expected much more though. The focus of this game was boobs and butts. I don’t think anyone was expecting some action game of the generation.

Saw on reddit that Sony is approving refunds if they contact support that the advertised product was not delivered. Shift Up is the one to blame for the whole controversy. If they didn't made that post of the game being "uncensored" there wouldn't have been much drama. But they digged themselves into a huge hole. For all we know they can make a real coomer game and release it exclusively on PC but their sales will be affected. After this incident people will think twice before purchasing a product from them.

This. This is what needs to be done. Make them financially suffer for bait and switching their audience. One of those cases where the money actually does send a message.

These people quite literally want their opposition dead.

On a different subject though, other than the song “star descent” (which is at the very start of the game) I’m having trouble hearing Keiichi Okabe music in this game. Maybe he just changed up his style for this game, but I’m not hearing much “Nier-like” music. Ah, whatever.
