I don't think it's really a question of what should be done legally, and instead it's about calling out bad behavior. I personally wouldn't care at all if Destiny ever made an effort to change his behavior, but he doesn't. Ultimately that was Max's goal, which he fucked up because anyone could point to Max just being vindictive about his personal issues with Destiny. Max should have shut the fuck up about the reddit shit and not publicly aired out his grievances with Destiny that had nothing to do with how Destiny treats people.
