In any case someone like Ethan Klein having the upper hand (in more than one occasion!)
on someone like Crowder speaks volumes about the current state of Youtube,
the world at large and this God-forsaken reality we live in.
I used to support some of Crowder's views, more because of Landau's delivery
-an acquired taste, if any- and particular insights from Gerald than because of
what he personally was able to bring to the discussion at hand (other than statistics and "facts").
And because much of his flavor of grift relied on
supporting his platform because he was "fighting" leftist lunacy.
The papers impersonating a trans and getting approved because of tranny language
to me was his most original and hilarious contribution,
other than select "Change My Mind" episodes and his over-the-top Trump impersonation.
But the way he avoided giving credit to Rogan -or even mentioning him by name-
on certain common topics after the non-conversation everyone is familiar with,
the routinely mocking of other people not even related to politics or cultural war drama
just to make void punchlines for non-jokes (always relying heavily on Landau's wit to save him),
and that pompous, whiny prima-donna general attitude that got increasingly irritating
made me eventually unfollow him.
Then came the Daily Wire episode, then Dave Landau with Michael Malice
and finally the divorce, and pretty much it can be concluded that this man
has severe mental issues beyond the evident paranoia, hipocrisy and
that holier-than-thou stupid bravado he managed to turn into a brand.
Even if his ex-wife is currently manipulating evidence,
it can't be denied this man has made his own grave.
Lack of self-awareness and incapacity to ever apologize, to me,
are the trademark traits that help identify a lolcow.
And Crowder definitely qualifies.
Fuck him and his parasocial drones.
Good work in progress OP, and congrats on getting it out of Prospering Grounds so fast.
