The show itself pretty harmless, it can hardly be called propaganda. The most it does is encourage people to be a bit more tender. Even then most characters on the show are "SHOOT FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER, AND THEN SHOOT THEM MORE" types of people. It's just a cartoon. It's only the idiot fans who take it to a completely new level.
There has been a really weird fetishization of lesbians in cartoons lately. So many shows are pushing to have all their fucking female character be gay or bi. It's even expanding to games like Gone Home and Life is Strange, it's getting fucking weird.

Gone Home had a killer soundtrack, just sayin'. Never thought it "fetishized" anybody either.
That being said, SU bores the shit out of me whenever I try watching it. It is pretty "gay" I guess but I never gave enough shits to notice. That being said I feel like our culture is changing in general and cartoon writers are just more willing to take risks with their characters' sexuality. That or they're trying to market themselves off their own progressivism (which happens more than you'd think). They know their audience at any rate.

I don't really like the art style and the slit nostril thing just rubs me the wrong way. I do like that the show runners have actually not been that shy about criticizing the more toxic and shitty elements of the fandom, even though they're pretty SJW-y themselves.
I seriously don't think the show is going to turn kids gay or whatever.
Yeah what's up with making all female characters lesbian or bisexual, it's almost like feminism wants to encourage women to get over men. Bitch, I ain't going to go homo just because feminism decided I must hate men.
I feel the same, in all honesty. I watch the show from time to time, and I find it enjoyable sometimes. The fandom can be a horrible nightmare, especially if there's "discourse" going on ("Alone At Sea" and the character dynamic of two characters, Lauren Zuke terminating her twitter, Zamii incident, etc) and when it's in full swing--run like hell.
On the fetishization of lesbians, all I can muster is "what the fuck" for a brief moment in my headspace. It's a trend for several years now and a device writers use to say "see, we're inclusive because we have lesbians" and not include the other three categories of the LGBT community, only favoring one part to the point of making a fetish out of it (lesbian, trangender being the most fetishized in my experience). Love is love, but this trend really needs to halt in my personal opinion.
Trying to be "revolutionary and inclusive uwu" doesn't work that well if you include only lesbians, which are the most accepted faction of LGBT, gay men and trans people often get more flack for merely existing than a lesbian would in a lifetime.
I find the way SU does it representation to be pushy as hell. Undertale had a lesbian fish and bisexual dinosaur hoe get together and it wasn't annoying because the game didn't play it up as "the perfect relationship" or as something daring and revolutionary. It just happened and was seen as a normal occurrence within the game. Meanwhile SU gets out of the way to be all preachy and attention whorish about their "representation".

One thing that always bugged me about SU is that a co-dependent and obsessive relationship between two of the characters is played up as perfect, ideal true love.
I'm pretty sure people only suck up to that bullshit because it's lesbians doing it, and lesbianism is considered perfect by feminists because it sidelines the icky men.
If Garnet was a fusion of a heterosexual couple, people would riot against it and bash it a lot, namely because it would have a woman being obsessively in love with a man and that's a big no no in the agenda.
In other words, Garnet's relationship is cliche and creepy.
