I also vote for Ortberg/Lavery to be moved. They've got a whole lot of WTF, but the transiness is central to the milk.

In a way, I'm not a huge fan of moving the tranny sideshow thread because I enjoy how awful troons being publicly terrible has such a broad.. um.. 'appeal'. It definately belongs here, so I hope it keeps the foot traffic it got from the communities board.

There is a general TERF thread in Community Watch, but it’s been plagued by incels for a while who are just using the thread to hate on feminists. I don’t know if bringing it here will stop that or if they will follow the thread and shit things up here.

There are threads on minor troon cows like Joe and Mallory, Shuli, Dani(el), and Fanny that might do better here, given they get buried in Lolcow General. Same with the threads on Rumer and Sneed Gallagher, as already mentioned. I also suggest moving the thread about ”Gretchen” Micah Felker-Martin’s shit book here.

But for the real important work — what are our labels going to be?

I am genuinely delighted that the direct outcome of the Keffals spergwar is the establishment by the Final Boss of the Internet of the new TERF compound.

Agreed, in the prior thread and elsewhere I advocated for something like a simple metric of "is this person popular because of troonery? is their content almost entirely troonery-based?" Contra and Tube are decent examples of someone who has headed in that direction but probably is not the original reason they got a thread. I think there may be reason to later on move someone here if that becomes everything about them. Those two examples at least seem to produce other content still.

Troon Lawyer or Tony/Erin Reed is a good example of the converse, it's entirely their troonery and stuff like involvement with Keffals that got them noticed and led to them getting threads. Also if you look at their Twitter this is basically all they actually ever talk about or the root of all they talk about. Often even when they talk about other topics they eventually make it all about troonery. (Tony's politics are, for example, almost entirely nothing but whether he thinks someone supports troons or not.)

I agree with Contra’s thread not being appropriate for this board, he’s more notorious for his breadtube politics, but Tube didn’t have a thread until he trooned out so I think putting him here may be more reasonable. Most of the funny stuff from him comes from the gender shit. If we’re going purely by audience, I feel Tube belongs here.

I mean, TERFS do have some funny moments. Just because they’re right about troons doesn’t mean everything. I feel like the TERF thread should stay in community watch for drama and then they can discuss their viewpoints on their own board here. That should cut down on the plagued status of the thread.

Good to see a subforum like this got added, but this may end up going the way of the Thunderdome if not managed properly - aka flooded with newfag refugees who don't bother to lurk before posting their autistic shitspeak spergouts, or rallying in jihad to defend the honour of a lolcow that they agree with politically on a completely different subforum.
Except instead of it being fedposting mulatto wignats who haven't felt the touch of a woman since they slid out of one several decades ago, it'd be bitter haggard spinsters who subsist on a diet of boxed prosecco and 'microwave meals for one'.

Ideally. Its would be a depozzed wiki entry. But youre right. Huge challege. Maybe more trouble than its worth.

Maybe make it a general thread on the intertwining of troons and "The Science". So stuff like articles, studies, that sorta thing. A&N gets flooded with those sorts of trashy pop-science articles all the time, so there's hardly a shortage of content.

According to Josh, there’s been no shortage of actual TERFs on the Farms for years now and we’ve integrated well. I don’t know why you felt the need to shit on us for no reason.
