I have to get my driver's license renewed soon, and the place I live is very deep into the self ID bullshit. I'm very heavily considering ticking the female box to pay less on car insurance. I know there was a Canadian guy who did this many years ago, but I feel like it'd be 100x easier now. It's clear you can make zero effort in looking like a woman for people to be forced to call you one. Anyone with such info who accurately says I'm not really a woman ends up arguing against self ID.

In 2023, I see no downsides if it's strictly on paper.
