Stop Killing Games (EU edition) - Moldman vs. Publishers

I was about to say. The thing that always gets me about these movements is that they never call out the consumers for being fucking retards.
Yeah, Ross should have said: You are all dumb fucking niggercattle buying and financially enabling the production of the most disguising goylop and should all kill yourself, would you please sign my petition.
just stop buying games from the companies that pull this shit
Stuff like lobbying, political pressure and violence work stuff like boycotts don't.

more rights than the US at least
you're also a fag
The local peacekeepers Jihaad al-Noori and Husaam al-Moradi aren't gonna be too happy seeing you make such transgressive comments online, especially with an expired Internet loisence. One more outburst like that and it's off to the slammer for domestic terrorism.

Eurobashing aside, it would be nice to see the petition and its initiative actually become some sort of substantial law that at the very least sets a precedent toward giving back ownership to consumers for products that they bought. Something like this should have been advocated for and implemented everywhere a decade ago when the model of "always online" services started taking over the industry. Now it's gonna be an extremely hard uphill battle to get these bastards to concede anything however, that doesn't mean there shouldn't be efforts to do so at all.

Ross is a guy that most people generally respect along with being competent so having him head this movement gives it much more promise than some random "change.org" from angry fans after the plug has been pulled on their game. If Zoomers want to play Fortnite 60 years later in retirement homes then they also have to get on this before it's too late. My best wishes to everyone involved.

My point is that even when these games flopped, the publishers' current consensus in response to this, wasn't to go "Hey we should stop making this" but instead was and still is "we must/will keep making this".
And they are paying a price for it. Have you seen the earning calls for Ubisoft? Soyny? EA? They're eating shit left right and center, yet you're trying to make the "behave" by government regulation no less.

It's not a boycott because boycotts *are gay*. It's exiting the market. Don't buy, don't pirate, don't talk about them. Just *walk the fuck away*. I am legitimately interested what exact titles and studios you're trying to make better here? Give me 3 titles that would be not dogshit if this came to pass?

And if you think daddy gubbement will ever help you instead of million dollar lobby groups? I have a fucking bridge to sell you

If there's anything to argue about here is that some of us, clinging to our "physical or bust" religion warned you that once you go all digital like Steam, this exact thing would happen. But nooooo because muh Gaben, piracy is a service problem and it's sooooooo convenient. But that's no longer an argument because everyone save for Nintendo has basically abandoned discs

The customer is not a child, nor is he a junkie. Stop buying this slop for fucks sake. If you see "online required" put down the the fucking credit card, and instead rant and rave how it's shit. This has worked since the free market was a thing. I'd get your point if these were utilities but for Christ sakes were talking about entertainment here. "Oh please daddy government please make the bad man stop selling us and then screwing us"
Why are you against giving more rights to the customer?

Because the last time I remember any law enacted to actually benefit normal people was in 1787, and it was far away from Europe
Don't be a libertarian.
Not wanting to use power only means you are giving it to the other guy.

Don't you realize how weak this position is compared to anyone willing to lobby, use the law for their own benefit or use any form of force?
This is as lame as a peaceful protest chanting at empty government buildings.

This position that anything to do with the government is to be avoided because if we all lived in ancapistan it would be so much better, is silly.

What could be worse for a video game you buy than you suddenly not being able to play it no matter what you try?

You know what? I thought about it. I saw that Louis Rossman is promoting this, and it made me rethink it. I still think I'm right and the industry should just crash and burn. And if you wanna be a dummy and keep perpetuating this shit by buying and thinking things will change, then that's your perogative. But at the end of the day pointing a finger at you and saying "suits you right for buying online shit" won't make things better.

So fuck it, I signed your stupid petition, and I sincerely hope things go the way you want and things will change. It costs me nothing and I don't give a rats ass about the result because I don't play modern games. But maybe it'll change something for the better for you. Good luck

Relax dude, one of two things will happen. Either nothing at all. Or these niggers will finally realise, the government fucking loves it when they bitch and moan, kick off their petitions or if they want to waddle in the street yelling about how the AAA studios touch them in bad places especially when done in order to create more legislation. It gives them the opportunity to give the donors a call about funding the party to 'stop/take control of this nonsense'.

Look at BLM, what changed politically? The government was laughing about the tax revenue on the horizon due from the rebuild, whilst laughing at the people defending the niggers that did it.

Yeah, because forcing them into public schools to get mindraped by the powers that be instead of getting educated by their own parents was such a great tradeoff
Oh, i get it, you just want to be a contrarian for the sake of it.
Sorry, I thought I was having a real conversation for a moment.

I think this speaks for itself,

As expected, this thread has attracted anti-consumer contrarian faggots who play defense for corporations.
Nigger, the "corporations" will be just fine. Do you know how costly it is to comply with EU regs? You need an army of lawyers and consultants to comply with this shit. Here, let me give you an example: If Notch had to comply with EU shit like GDPR, DSA, and all the rest of the alphabet soup of EU regs since 2010, Minecraft would have never been made. It literally couldn't release in current year. More EU regulations = more cost = only corps can comply = more goyslop and less individual/small devs.

Look at how the kids turn out now and tell me their "normal". Time in the mines would sort them right out.
Are you two being retarded on purpose? Even if you want to be libertarians at least don't go full retard and argue that putting children in a hazardous environment is a better ideal.
