Vectrex can be emulated as well. As for the SMS I was speaking of its failure in 'murica and in Japan. That was Sega's biggest problem. Their systems tended to be hits somewhere, but not where it counted, except the Genesis/Megadrive did well everywhere.

Look up the x68000 on youtube. Cool games machine.

Jay wrote a song about his experiences after playing Five Frights at Denny's

To Hell and Back

A bold gold man, thrust into the dark
Fighting his fears, fists clenched and red
Facing possessed monsters, light bulbs spark
Robot animals want to make him dead.

Stalking and lurking when he isn't looking,
His heart's pounding, blood running hot
His armor's chink gave way from fox bolting
Banging his plate, grievous red robot.

Run? No he can't.
Can there be any glory from horror?
Let him pray, to live to the end.

Not like there's much chance of that!

Power drains wearily
Burnt out; at their mercy
Five nights without sleep
The devil smiles as claws attack.
The knight has gone
To hell and back!

Friends all around him, cheering him on
With their tips, he came through.
In time, the monsters were gone.
Endured to night four, this is true.

Run? No he can't.
Can there be any glory from horror?
Let him pray, to live to the end.

Who could mock him for that?

Power drains wearily
Burnt out; at their mercy
Five nights without sleep
The devil smiles as claws attack.
The knight has gone
To hell and back!

Dum dum, dum-dum-dum,
Dum dum, dum-dum-dum,
Dum dum, dum-dum-dum,
Dum dum, dum-dum-dum,

SKREEEE!

(Solos!)

Power drains wearily
Burnt out; at their mercy
Five nights without sleep
The devil smiles as claws attack.
The knight has gone
To hell and back!

(Creepy evil laughter)

Do we know if he's going to do another stream? If he's so interested in N64 & PS1, I can send him and you guys a link for an online version of PJ64. Then, someone can whoop him at Goldeneye or something to make the stream a little more entertaining.

I want a game where he has to make choices. Something that reflects on him.

The only way I can see him playing Sims 3 and it being fun is if we found a bunch of mods that lil' sociopath would use. Being able to kill people (Dexter mod), some power armor models, any shit that lines up with his fucked up desires. It'd be a bonus if he didn't know what all the mods were and found out as he played. I'm going to glance at Sims 3 mods just to see what there is that can change the actual mechanics of the game. The Future expansion adds a jetpack so he might be able to kind of recreate his little fingerless Mary Sue.

Epic Mickey (both games) has a pretty linear morality system, mostly (but not limited to) how you defeat the bosses but also how you handle certain tasks. Which effectively boils down to using paint and being nice, or being an absolute asshole and use thinner. The latter is, nine times out of ten, the significantly easier method because being an asshole kills enemies permanently and gives instant gratification with collectible pins or large money rewards, while the former is usually the harder route and requires a bit more skill (I.E. the very first moral choice in the first game is either rescuing one of the fairy guys from his cage on a catapult...or grabbing a chest that's got a small amount of money-type resources that will launch the fairy guy into the nether because said chest is on the switch that will trigger the catapult. There is ultimately a better reward for rescuing the fairy guy that's not revealed until later, but which one do you think GK would do?).

Although...Shadow of the Collossus would be appropriate given it would allow him to live out the epic hero fantasy he loves so much
and also because it still fucks you over in the end anyway

On the topic of streams, a question:

If a hypothetical "Silver Paladin" were to hypothetically start doing livestreams, due to the hypothetical "inspiration" received from the "legendary" Golden Knight, what would be the best time to stream in order to garner a wide audience (hopefully including Jay himself) and give said knight a credible threat to his status with his fan base?

http://www.twitch.tv/hypersilverpaladin

Hypothetically.

Other recommendations:

Dishonored: Binary linear choice and the ability to handle things like a hero or like a prick means we could learn a lot from this.

Red Dead Redemption: Do you think he'll go for fame or infamy?

Spec Ops: The Line: There's no choices in this one, but I'd like to force him to play something that may make him feel an emotion.

Mass Effect: This might actually be an interesting one because the choices would reflect the Auric Autist personally.

Dark Souls:
Good luck getting the Copper Coprophage to play this, but if he does, watch him be the dick that randomly kills every NPC because "it's funny" before players who know about his high sin level that results will actively Darkmoon his ass and he has no idea who to buy shit from because he killed everyone. It'd be like DarkSydePhil all over again.

Fallout (Any): Jay is a terrible person who will not personally sacrifice anything, for any reason, ever. This could be fascinating.

The Temple of Elemental Evil: D&D Fallout 1-2. It's a great game with much the same thing, in that Jay is a terrible person whose actions will be satisfying.

Passage - partly because it's free, partly because I want to see if he figures out you can move the character down into the maze hidden from sight, and partly to seem him try and understand why the "wife" ultimately dies at the drop of a hat without warning and there's nothing he can do about it.

Saints Row IV - only because I want to see him react to a game series as well known as Saints Row...force him to get his ass handed to him by a suave-as-hell alien overlord...and then have to play through a 50's sitcom where you can't move any faster than doing a gay-ass jig-walk thing, you have to fight the controls simply to force a driving segment to get the car out of the painted lanes (meaning no, GK, you can not mow down the people waving at you, THE GAME INTENTIONALLY IS SCRIPTED TO PREVENT YOU FROM KILLING INNOCENTS). There's also required activities where you have to run into moving traffic and get hurt as much as possible, the Metal Gear parody where you have to fight your evil mirror clone, and finally the Johnny Gat mission, which literally ends by reminding the player that Zinyak (the bad guy) is more scared of Johnny -who kills twice as many aliens despite being buck-ass nude as the player character does trying to rescue Gat with a giant walking nuclear arsenal - and considers The Boss as a secondary threat in comparison. It's also impossible to kill everything, GK could go on and murder every single thing he sees for HOURS and he wouldn't even DENT the number of people on screen. It's the ultimate example of his need to be "heroic" - with superpowers, no less! - by murdering innocents being totally pointless. Which would be hillariously ironic given SRIV makes the player get elected to the White House at the start of the game, literally the top of the world, and to GK he would be powerless.

Maybe start sometime around 6 eastern like Jace? I think Jay goes beddie-bys early most of the time.

How can you guys stand listening to this for more than 2 minutes? His BOOMING EPIC VOICE is giving me a headache, even when I turn the volume down. /whine

Some highlights:

I did not realize there was a delay with the webcam. Okay. I shall know from now on.

My ally and teammate, tried and true.

To tell you the truth, I don't like this. This is my weakness. My kryptonite.

That one figurine was right there, like right at the front of my door!

Ringa-ding-ding!

No shyah!

I'm tryin' to stay calm, like a BAMF.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

I sense a strong distuhbance in the fowuss!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

My left hand keeps going close to the escape [button].

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

I don't like this. I don't. Like. This!

I know my powah level, but what can I do? I wanna just lock myself away and crawl in a cornuh!

My left hand keeps going to that escape re-flex-ively! It's like a cowboy on the draw!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

(A "figurine" suddenly jumps onto screen and attacks the player. Jay draws in a sharp, horrfied gasp, followed by heaving, haunted breathing)

I actually choked! I could FEEL my THROAT... CONSTRICT... on ITSELF!

Hey, if I had a gun or a sword, (gasp), we wouldn't be talkin' and they'd be dead. Well, whatever, they'd be motionless.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII! (x2)

Yeah [indeterminable] crawl into a hole.

HAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

HAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

HAAAIIIIIIIIII!

Where are they? They're like nnninjas!

HAAAIIII!

They're nnninjas!

(Upon spotting Bonny Bunny) AAAAAHH!

HAAAIIII!

(singing) Dum dum dum dum dum dum dum, Mister Sandman! Bring me a dream! Make him the cutest like I've ever seen!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!

HAI!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII! (x2)

(Power goes out)
FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAUH!

(A digital readout comes up, reading 5 AM, which turns to 6 AM)
PFWAHAWHAWHAW(HUUK)HAWHAW(HUUK)! I need a break!

Fallout - Jay is a big Fallout fan. I think I checked his achievements in Fallout 3 and he had most of them. He would know too much about it and how to play violently without fucking himself over. I'd like a game with repercussions. The problem with Fallout games after 2 is that most moral choices are for the story and don't have a direct impact.

Mass Effect - Mass Effect one and two might actually be good. They're really long though. I think Mass Effect 2 would be more interesting since you can actually fuck up and get people killed by being an asshole. He could possibly skip ME1 if he instead downloaded the character generator Bioware released that lets you go through the bigger choices in ME1 in comic book form so you have a character ready for transfer for ME2. This would only be interesting if he was totally new to the Mass Effect universe. Again, it's a really long game and I don't know if people would have the patience to follow it. He plays too early for me but I'd personally like to see his choices and reactions to events if he had never played it before.

Red Dead Redemption - A game so good that I actually got 100% for the fun of it. I don't remember too many moral choices except for when you encountered the Taxman who purposely put you in those situations. I think the few that I remember were more about killing someone or taking them alive and I think we all know what GK would choose. Still might be interesting to watch if he hasn't played it. John Marston is a good guy who's done bad but is trying to do right in a shitty situation. It might be interesting to see if GK understands his actions and reasoning. I'd also be interested to see if he gets creative with the rope. I got sick of Herbert Moon's bigot talk about jews and mexicans so I hogtied him, put him on the back of my horse, and dropped him off in the middle of Mexico. If Jay were to play this I predict that he'd piss off Armadillo pretty damn quickly. I imagine Jay would get off on the hunting challenges until he had to take down a bear with a knife.

Jay is apparently streaming tonight starting at 11 pacific, going on into Saturday. He's doing this for a few British folks and an obvious troll who doesn't even show up for the streams. We told him to set a reasonable schedule to draw in more viewers. He's got it backwards. He also thinks he has 13 hours of momentum in him.

Oh noes! Orange Julius found out about the Wiki and its SLANDEROUS MOCKERY, and he intends to harm us!!

This should go about as well as Peg-Pelvis Pete's attempt to do similar.

"And one more note I feel obligated to mention because I need to defuse what seems to have scared off potential customers. Some cyber bullies did create an unofficial "wiki" about me and spun it in a way to make me look bad. What I need to say is I have no affiliation or endorsement of this in any way whatsoever and I wish I had the power to annihilate it off the face of cyberspace! This breaks the cardinal offense of denying existence to the bad things, but I do feel that its threat is too grand to not acknowledge at least in warning. Beyond that, though, there shall never again be any talk about it."

Place your bets, folks.

I bet one Autism (the unilateral currency of the CWCki) on the Golden Wiki being mentioned next stream if he's pressed about it.
