I'm kind of surprised that he believes drinking vegetable oil is an antidote for nerve gas. I mean, not so much that he would believe such a thing, but what he says the oil is for.

I guess he never heard of atropine.

You know, I thought drinking gallons of vegetable oil was bad enough, but he's also inhaling asbestos. God, what an idiot.
 
I was certain he was using the veggy oil for traps. I'd never imagined he'd drink it as a nerve gas preventative. That's absolute gold.

But I can't blame him because he's just trying to stay alive. What's another trick he could to to keep staying alive? Bellbottom pants and a polyester shirt. AUGH YEAH

If Ivan dropped character Jace wouldn't believe it anyway. If anything it'd probably make him more distrustful. It's got me fucked how you can sell items with asbestos in it anyway, even if it is an "antique".

Well, the "cleaning up the car" part seems to lend authenticity to it--drinking oil straight will cause your bowels to explode, so unless Jace knew that and is fabricating the whole thing--including the whole "civil war", fundamentalist mother and all, and is actually a rather creative (and perfectly sane) actor, it must be true.

So he's drinking vegetable oil as an antidote to ricin (there is no antidote to ricin). And he's breathing in asbestos fibers from an expired 70-year-old gas mask.

Either the poison control center has a very incompetent employee or Jace is lying, and given his track record he's almost certainly lying.

Oh, and apparently he thinks he can sue us for libel or kill us with an airsoft pistol.

I honestly hope Jace tries to enlist in the Marines, seeing the recruiters laugh at him would be priceless.
