  1. "Thanks" counts have been imported.
  2. Banned users have been formally migrated from a group to the state of being banned.
  3. Banned users are pinked.
  4. Moderators should be able to moderate their forums now.
  5. Global Moderators can now access to banning section of the ACP.
  6. Null can view hidden forums without being in the Admin list.
  7. Username styling has been fixed.
  8. YouTube tags now work retroactively. Please use media=youtube from now on.
  9. Updated CSS for the chatbox, fixing minor design issues.
  10. Award titles have been removed. Custom titles will stay.
  11. Smilies have been orgainzed in the new system.
  12. Banned users now get pinked properly.
  13. Chat now makes a ticking noise and can be toggled with a button click. This change is persistent to your browser.
  14. Chat is now re-added to the Index.

As a chronic and incurable longposter, who sometimes doesn't reply to other people's longposts because snipping everything but the relevant section feels like too much work, I heartily approve of this feature. Thank you, Dear Leader!

(I did say [if they read about it] and wouldn't [need to] do the @, but aside from my nerd need to correct the record, the reply [highlighted section] thing is a good [socially engineered] result. We don't have to have every option, generally, and from a design standpoint, there's such a thing as too many options. It's an enhancement, and whether provided beneficently or begrudgingly, it's objectively +.

Imao at using YMS's beastiality quote of all things as an example, either way this is a very slick and useful feature and makes replying to posts so much easier, I cant tell you how many times I've clogged up threads quoting massive walls where just a specific quote would have been more succinct, I can sneed more peacefully now.
 
There should be a community sandbox for people to fuck around and practice their BB code skills and shit up there.

I have everything relevant in my notepad and I could use the practice.

l liked to open an entire post via quote into a new tab so I could keep it there separate until reading the posts after it and then go back to cut parts out that weren't relevant and reply that way

this may be an improvement for the site somehow but it will require me to do a thing that is slightly different sometimes (but not always), therefore REEEEEEE because (like everyone here) I hate change even more than I hate the way things are

These buttons mean you can quote in that thread and board, but you cannot quote this entire post. There's 3 reasons why:
  • Community Happenings thread does not allow quote-replying to stop people from doing so accidentally.
  • No OP of any thread can be quote-replied to. You're posting in the thread, so it is already obvious you're replying to that post.
  • Very long posts cannot be quote-replied in full.
For those instances, there is still a way to quote-reply to a specific part of the post. Simply highlight what you're replying to.

This feature also works with the multi-quote system, so you can reply to individual parts of multiple large posts at once.

Once you use +Quote, you then click this button on your post editor.
