I would like a way to leave private notes on individual users, a bit like the user notes on Discord. That way I could mark Catler's haram RPers and never treat them with dignity in the future, short of ignoring them.

There's no good way to do this currently. I will definitely forget who they are in a few weeks, and I don't want to investigate users repeatedly while accidently treating them like humans.

@Magicat bookmark a user's post (doesn't matter which one of their posts), add a note, and then periodically check this page to see all your bookmarks if you need to be reminded of who you don't want to interact with.

@Magicat bookmark a user's post (doesn't matter which one of their posts), add a note, and then periodically check this page to see all your bookmarks if you need to be reminded of who you don't want to interact with.

If people are willing to fiddle with CSS with a third-party extension like Stylus (Chrome store), you can alter the appearance of a user's username within a thread such that there's no need to refer to bookmarks. For example, I tested out

a[href*="/members/twinkie.17208"] {
    color: #FF0000;
}

and it gave me this for each instance @Twinkie posted on any thread. As written it'll turn any links containing the string red, not just under the profile pics of posts.

having your watched threads on the homepage is lame, it adds clutter and slows down loading on tor

why not just move the button in this dropdown menu to the top bar?

I don't give a shit about getting rid of reaction scores, but the lack of notifications is a serious downgrade as they were an easy way to monitor threads I'm currently posting in and jump between them, especially on mobile. I don't always want to bookmark or watch threads and having to now click on my profile and open a new page to see reactions is a huge bummer compared to just clicking on the bell and seeing them immediately.

They also serve as a kind of ghetto bookmark if I leave for a while by allowing me to immediately pick up at my most recent post without having to find the thread manually.

Like many other suggestions, I may have little to no care about updoots, but KF should need to revert to its previous changes: Reaction Score (depends, acts as something that keeps a Kiwi’s days up, as it has to do nothing wrong or do with the Catler drama.), Reaction Notifications, rearranging the Watching Thread section into something more convenient; such as the previous version that has the category arranged under the amount of members online, or remove it and put the section in the Forums list on the top bar.
I really missed the Karma scores because I wanted to laugh at niggers with negative doots that are being slammed into oblivion by any Kiwis out there, as well as a particular dopamine for their daily life. I never particularly farm for positive reactions, just posting for passion, but do still miss it a lot in my genuine and retardedly autistic opinion.
Should it be convenient enough, just take my personal suggestions with a grain of salt.

Adding the watched threads section to it's own part in the main forum body is already making shit x10 easier to spot updates in threads. I know it's just taking away a few button clicks, however it is actually a good change.

A suggested Final Solution to the Sticker Notification Question:

How do I get notified about new activity in threads I have recently posted in? Because that's the feature I want which I was using the notifications as a way to approximate.

Have an option that, if checked, would notify you of new posts in a thread you recently posted to within a period of a day or two that doesn't require you to manually watch or unwatch the thread. It would lessen the amount of friction and it doesn't involve stickers.

As has been repeatedly said: the stickers aren't the crux of the issue (at least for me), it's knowing whether or not a thread you've posted to within the last few days (that you preferred to not click 'watch' on) is active or not from the notifications button.

Sticker notifs were just a good, simple way of telling that, but Balldo's suggestion of a system that notifies you of posts within an unwatched thread a few days after you posted would work great! Again, idgaf about stickers, I just don't want to have to watch every thread I post to or manually navigate around the site to know if they're active or not.

I am not saying that the removal has made it impossible to use the site, I am saying that @Balldo's Gate's proposal would give us back the convenience that the sticker notifs gave us without enabling stickerspergs, and that I and others upset over the removal would have no further complaints if it were just replaced with the non-sticker-oriented alternative.

Idk if this would require making a new feature for XF (and is thus off the table), but some (ideally opt-in) system that temporarily (for a day or two) notifies you when an unwatched thread you've recently posted in has new replies would fully address many of the complaints regarding the notification removal. It's the convenience of the sticker notifs without actually involving stickers. Pretty please?
