The threads will be shit and uninteresting. For example I'm a technerd, I wouldn't want to show off my passions by making a technology thread or something in that subforum, when it already has one dedicated to it.

I vote for this too, searching for posts with images is currently impossible, not only is there no filter for it, the search results don't even show the images that are in the found posts.
Ability to search posts that have attachments (even better if it's by attachment type or inserted image) and as a bonus search by attachment filename or description
 
Clicked the banner to go back to the home page. Reflexively tried to click on the link above the features to go to the Community Happenings thread and it wasn't there. I felt betrayed. It'd be kinda cool if it could be there permanently.
 
Searching "Josh Moon" in the lolcow searchbar should bring up the mati thread, I always forget where it is.
 
Had a monetization idea, let people (KiwiTubers) download an entire cow thread for a price then they can run it through an LLM to create a script.

- could there be a dedicated A&N community happenings thread? just something to split up the politics from general lolcow/site news and happenings.
I think it could potentially give more obscure happenings a little more exposure, as they aren't competing with happenings site-wide, and it'd also allow people who aren't interested in that to ignore political happenings entirely.

- This is a bit of a nitpick, but can the newest submissions/off-topic boxes on the front page be moved above the active threads? I think It's very useful for finding new stuff to read, but I find myself forgetting to check it as I have to scroll down to see it.
The active threads box is nice, but generally speaking unless something major happened it tends to show the same few threads. I don't really find it to be as useful as the other ones.
 
I think it would be very funny if the random text at the top of the website was hardcoded to always be the American culture copypasta on MLK Jr day.

Can indian IPs have their caste and izzat listed? I don't feel comfortable interacting with non-Brahmins like @Staticness.
You can just use a counter that decrements whenever someone types jeet on his profile and increments whenever he gives the top hat to someone in the india menace thread.
 
It would be nice to have a way to see all Kiwi Gold sponsored posts, maybe something similar to the "Featured posts" button under the "What's new" dropdown menu but for sponsored posts?

I don't get why the Halloween and Christmas themes are available year-round but the patriotic theme is only available on the Fourth of July.

Every day counts as Independence Day to me, and every should count for you too, my fellow Americans.

On a similar note, maybe make it so Kiwi Gold users can't feature their own posts? It just doesn't seem to make sense among KF's overall theme and purpose.

This suggestion has likely been made before, but something needs to be done about Community Happenings posts not being so large that you have to scroll down to see the whole post. Not everyone is interested in Jake Fartman the generic lolcow as much as you are. If you can’t give me a nice three to five sentence elevator pitch for why I should care then you shouldn’t be the one making the community happenings post.

If you have a negative reaction score or you’re generally just a low quality and obnoxious poster, you shouldn’t able to private your profile. I don’t know if triangle’d or banned users can hide theirs, but they shouldn’t be able to either.

It’s supposed to add a shortcut to the link to your phone, so you can click on the icon and be instantly taken here. There is no app, and if there was one it would probably just be a .apk that could only be backloaded onto androids
