Sounds like you're trying to justify it & convince yourself that it's okay in your own mind, OP. If you ARE actually having suicidal thoughts & inclinations, I hope you speak with someone soon. Suicide is never the answer.

Unless you're a pajeet. If that's the case, then go ahead & do it before you shit up another street or scam someone else while working in a scam call center.

I generally disagree, with special concessions for circumstance.
Being poor or sad isn't enough.
Avoiding capture in war, and a slow torturous death is acceptable.
If you're dying in agony, then maybe, but I feel like it'd be better to make the most of your remaining time.
I think there are worse things in this life than pain.
But then, I've never been crippled by ceaseless agony, so I might start singing a different tune one day.
And of course for people I don't like, because it saves somebody else the trouble of smothering them with a pillow.

Suicide is inherently selfish. Short of incredibly rare cases of torture/dying painfully in short order, you are causing your loved ones emotional distress and prevent any future good deeds you could have done in your life. There's a good reason why it is considered a sin in Abrahamic religions.

Yeah but you jumped in front of the train I needed to get to work you selfish faggot. Now I'm late, fuck you.

Suicide is just a decision some people take, its not inheritanly bad
It is bad, because nobody should be made to feel that low. It's bad because there's a lack of a way out for those people who hit rock bottom, whether it be lack of resources, lack of support, lack of outreach or even lack of funding with your local services. It's horrible that some people lack options and feel suicide is their only way out; it's a failing of the people around them and the systems meant to protect and support them. Unless you're a pedo or zoophile/zoosadist, you should never see suicide as the answer, so I hope if you're feeling that way you can overcome this battle OP.

It depends on how you value life, or if you attach any sort of meaning to life. Numerous philosophers advocated for the act of suicide, however many of them were 19th and 20th-century philosophical pessimists and nihilists. Some philosophers like David Hume viewed suicide as an outright insult to God. Maybe suicide can be a moral act if you are sacrificing yourself to save many lives, or you are sick and want to be rid of the pain of going through years of treatment. But the only issue is it all comes down to subjectivity.

Let's say there's a man—in his mind, he is sacrificing himself to save his family the grief of dying of cancer. However, he doesn't tell them and just kills himself. Well, now you have a grieving family with a dead father AND they later find out he had cancer and didn't tell them. Also, what is sick? Maybe someone feels a little sad and they kill themselves because they are "sick" with grief.

I would always encourage people who have suicidal thoughts to seek help or talk to someone about them.

Edit: unless you're a pedo or rapist, then yeah you should absolutely self-immolate yourself

My body my choice. As long as i'm not harming anyone why is it illegal to kill myself? Because I can't keep paying taxes?

the issue is just, everyone else around you will suffer for that. (friends, family or other relatives/close ones)
This. Even when you think you have no one, you would be surprised who your death affects. Still remember a kid that jumped in front of a train. I knew his family from church. He seemed happy, so when one day he was gone, sliced in half, it was a shock. He didn't really know me, but I've refused to forget, because if I do, he's truly gone. You don't know who you're going to hurt when you take that final step, nor who actually cares. Don't do it.

Many people who commit suicide are alone and have no friends, family or relatives that care about them. Isolation without purpose is extremely dangerous to the human mind.
When I see a person in this situation, I ask "Why?".
I mean, I'm conventionally "antisocial", unkempt, poor, riddled with neuroses, I say cruel things offhand, my political beliefs are literally criminal, and frankly, I can be fucking annoying with my hobbies.
But I put my best foot forward when I can, and as a result, I've never been friendless.
Hell, some weeks I'm inundated with more people than I can stand.
A person who is completely isolated, is always at least partially to blame.
Unless they're a desert island castaway or something.
The reason is often something they could help, were they inclined.

Unless you are irredeemable and despised by all - like Adolf Hitler, William Luther Pierce, or a regular in the gender-hatred threads that last one was a joke you fucking spergs - suicide is never the answer.

Out there, somewhere, you've got a friend. You are not alone.
