750 sq ft for 429k? Is that Canadian dollar or American? It's still somewhere around 340k American. People are actually paying that much money to then pay HOA fees and all the other bullshit included with a condo in a city that you can barely call part of the Vancouver area. Good to know at least it isn't just the American market that is completely fucked.

Just wait until you see that every single park and greenspace is full of homeless junkies and tent cities. I'm not even exaggerating. Good luck walking your dog or taking your kids to the park. I've never seen BC in such a sorry state - we're collapsing but nobody want's to admit how far we've fallen. It will take generations to fix this, if they're even able to fix it.

Every time there's an earthquake in Japan I pray the tsunami rolls in and washes greater Vancouver out with the Japanese tide. Total cleansing.

A better way to think about it is that it is about 2,655,000.00 Hong Kong Dollars, or 2,235,500.00 Yuan

As for the state of Vancouver. The radical left there have successfully driven away all primary industries, so there are few jobs for the working class that provide a living income.

The irony is that mainland China has a healthier middle class than Vancouver

Come to think of it, I can see why more people nowadays choose to live in either Langley or Surrey as opposed to Vancouver.

Hold up, I misread this the first time. Are these “homes” really only 69 square metres? If so, holy shit! The first apartment I ever bought was about 97 square metres and it was tiny!!

Langley looks like one of those depressing estates in England, the ones that look like prisons, like in the White Bear episode of Black Mirror.

If I remember correctly, White Bear was filmed on RAF or Army residential estate. So, you're probably not far off!

Yeah the whole area around Langley city is a total shit hole. The homeless population expanded in Surrey so they have started going east and the whole area has started to rot. I've even seem some homeless people in North Langley and Grove.

I still cant believe Yaniv still manages to somehow afford a place in the lower mainland considering the prices. With all his lolsuits I would expect him to be in some co-op or someone's basement.
