Unfortunately no. I moved into my own place before he joined, so it's just something I came back to one day. I've never met anybody else in the organization, so all I can really talk about is how the group will completely change anybody who joins it. My brother went from a moderate liberal to a dogmatic socialist who accuses people of fascism in what seems like overnight.

Admittedly he'd always been a fairly gullible kid, so maybe he was always going to turn out this way. I'm sure if he'd found 4chan before finding tumblr as a teenager he'd be a Groyper or something by now.

It's more similar to the People's Temple in my opinion. The Jonestown cult was trying to cozy up to the DPRK before they commited their "revolutionary suicide".

It's funny that you say that given I remember @NoReturn comparing them to the People's Temple.

So long as they don't buy a compound to "fight for climate justice" I'm not that worried.

I don't know for sure because she DFE'd just before I wrote this thread but I'm pretty sure Sara Blazevic (one of the founders) has claimed to be Jewish. No idea if that grift's still going on but if it is I wonder what she has to say about this.
