That's the litmus, right? They deliberately act like retards to make environmentalism exceptional (which isn't hard to do) so that people at large would dump them like sacks.

The problem with causes like this is that they're inherently futile and wasteful. Sure, we can clean places like the ocean and shit, but anything more than that is reaching into people's livelihoods, wellbeing and sanity.

See, it makes sense why they go so hard on racial issues when you notice that global warming is another wedge issue that's wielded solely to attack White people. When they talk about reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enforcing lower birthrates it's not about Africa, they're talking about Europeans and trying to get European children so scared they live in a pod and never get married.

My brother describing the group as such is the first thing that set me on edge about the whole thing tbh. You cannot say the words "We are an army of young people" out loud without making yourself sound creepy as all hell.

Looking at their "What We Want" page has the following things:
1. Green New Deal (dead)
2. The re-election of Ed Markey (an incumbent in a safe seat, so almost guaranteed anyway)
3. The re-election of Ilhan Omar (same)
4. A Biden "commitment" to Clean Energy (meaningless, also dead)
5. "Engage in mass noncooperation to interrupt business as usual and win a Green New Deal." (ongoing I guess?)
