Super Smash Bros.

Stinks that Ghirahim isn't playable, but at least he's in the game somewhat. Now it's Dark Pit, Ridley, and Shulk. I also would like to see if Mewtwo returns or not. Can't believe that we are 20 days away from the Japanese release. We'll get to know who the final roster is by that point before it comes to America (provided that you like spoilers).

I'm currently thinking about trying out Robin since his gameplay sounds interesting.

Yasunori Mitsuda is one of the composers. Chrono Trigger had amazing music (yes I'm aware Nobou is the other composer of Chrono Trigger) so this is awesome news for me. This soundtrack is going to be FANTASTIC.

Seems fake to me. The amount of characters added from what we already know isn't very many. And some characters are far away from their franchises. There's no reason for that to happen, so I think it's fake.
 
I'm almost convinced, since actual video footage was posted earlier, only to be removed for copyright.

I'd still wait to here something from Sakurai.

Since this roster is going to be almost 2x the size of Brawl's, not only will All-Star Mode be crazy, but it looks like the tier lists for the game are going to take a bit more time to create as well.

Speaking of competitive play, I wonder how the tournaments will handle custom movesets. Part of me thinks it will make fights more amusing, but at the same time I feel like they'll be banned due to randomness and the possibility of the competitors taking time to set up their movesets.

Yeah but no Ice Climbers. I figured since they were in Melee and Brawl they'd get grandfathered in by default. :(

Seems way too accurate to be considered fake to me. Plus if the leaked footage really was fake, would all the original videos still be on YouTube? Also, how did the leakers manage to be very accurate without prior knowledge of what these displays would actually look like? Not to come off as a prick, just food for thought.

Nobou only did 10 songs in the game, and only after mitsuda contracted stomach ulcers due to stress. Mitsuda also composed Chrono Cross, and even those who (unfortunately) hate the game usually agree the soundtrack for that game was fantastic.

GOOD NEWS!

There is actually a Nintendo Direct airing tomorrow. Bad news however, is that it's Japan-only. Maybe there will be something for Smash Bros since Japan is only 2 weeks away from getting SSB4?

Nice to see a Nintendo Direct before the game comes out next month. Hopefully it be a newcomer reveal or at least having one of the originals back. Seeing all of these news is making me want to replay Melee again.

I called it! They would have something Smash related, and Shulk would be shown since he's popular in Japan! There's even an English version of the trailer:
