Super Smash Bros.

That trailer is beautiful. Gets me ready every time. Shulk's moveset is really fascinating due to how adaptable he could be in any stage. If used well, it could go really well or horribly wrong if someone toke advantage of the weaknesses in the Mondao modes.

I probably going to use these five out of all the newcomers.

Shulk
Lucina( I don't care if she's a clone, she's awesome.)
Robin
Pac-Man
Greninja

Sometimes when I'm drunk I'm kind of like, super smashed, bros. *yawn*

I'm pretty much going to try out all the newcomers once I unlock them all. Out of all of the confirmed newcomers though, I would like to try out Robin since his moveset involving the limited use of his sword and magic is one of the more interesting ones on the roster. Then there's Shulk with his ability to flip through different Monado powers; he'll definitely be fun to play as. Then after that I'll try out Lucina followed by Little Mac then Mega Man.

As for the other characters that were leaked, I'm going to hold off on them until Sakurai goes into more detail about them. We don't even know what their movesets are going to be like beyond questionable text leaks and speculation.

I still don't like the in-game interface. Hope this isn't final. *sigh*

I'm thinking that the final roster is meant to fill up the entire screen, hence why the background is just black and not some detailed background. I guess they thought it would be pointless to have it detailed if it's just going to get blocked by all the characters.

I've been contemplating the thought of preordering the 3DS version and going to the midnight release, but I recently had to spend money on textbooks for my second year in college. Not to mention that it releases on a Friday, which for me is a school day. However, I only have two classes separated by a near three hour break (I have two hybrid courses), and my first class isn't until 9:00AM EST, so maybe if I'm lucky and I get to be one of the first few people to get the game, I'd probably have enough time to sleep and still be able to go to college.

The only thing I need to do though is build up my back account again.

Demo is out in Japan. Interesting thing is that Nintendo might be releasing said demo overseas which would pretty nice.

While looking at anything Smash related, I found a interesting detail that a new or returning character might appear really soon.

Turns out that Meta Knight had the same words when he was revealed. When it was getting closer to Shulk's reveal, those same words disappeared from Meta Knight. From this, maybe they reveal whoever during this Friday's live-stream.

The best part about the leak is what happens if you fight Master Hand and Crazy Hand at the end of Classic Mode on higher difficulties:

If you defeat one of the hands, they fuse together to form this abomination called "Master Core". It's a giant smash ball surrounded by a swarm of darkness, and it has FIVE FUCKING FORMS!

Form 1 is a titan that can sprout an extra set of arms and lift the fucking stage.

Form 2 is a chimera-like beast.

Form 3 is FIVE FUCKING SWORDS that are almost impossible to avoid.

Form 4 is a shadow clone of the character you're playing as.

The fifth and final form is the core itself. Keep hitting it until you finally send it back to Hell.

It's like Sakurai went "Oh, you thought it would be like the last three games? WELL HERE IS A NEW CHALLENGER!". This boss makes Tabuu look like a stuffed panda by comparison, and that's saying something.

I think this roster is incredible, it's diverse, fun, and yes the ones on the cutting room floor are sad but seriously. The Wii U version needs to market itself somehow doesn't it? It may have more characters. Plus Namco was recently in the news for trademarking something Smash related for 2015, either its turned annual or there is already planned to be DLC. I do however want to kill Sakurai for Dark Pit.

The guy who got the game early finally posted a video of Duck Hunt, can't wait to play as them

Also the Ice Climbers got cut for a very specific reason. It's stupid but there's always the future.

There are no roster differences for the Wii U version. Sakurai confirmed that a while ago.

Yeah... I just don't trust that son of a bitch. It probably won't though. I just find it odd that they have like nothing to set it apart though besides being HD.
I'm sure it'll have its own thing like Smash Run though.

Some stages are unique to their platforms. The Wii U version will have stages the 3DS won't have, and vice versa. Should keep the game fresh.

All of that said, I am most disappointed that Mewtwo again didn't make the cut. Despite the fact that Lucario has Mewtwo's moveset with a slight palette swap and the whole "he gets stronger with higher %" thing. Goddammit Sakurai.

The roster is great IMO, but I too was annoyed by how what we got in the leaks actually turned out to be the final roster in the end. I myself was expecting it to fill out the entire top screen.

Smash Bros is Goddammit Sakurai: The Series.

I know the stages are different but that's not enough to justify $60.

Big news though, Nintendo announced a patch already. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/axcj/update/
This could mean they could patch more things in later, unlike Brawl.
