Sweden made a deal in Friday in a meeting where there was Peter Eriksson, Minister Of Technology and Information Frameworks (MOTIF), Ben Schlomo McOven Wilson, Youtube Europe Supervisor (YES), and unnamed representatives of Google and Twitter.

The deal is about Google censoring Swedish language internet searches which preach hate speech. Also Twitter and Youtube needs to search out for Swedish hate and remove it. All the companies agreed to help Sweden. Facebook has agreed to remove Swedish language advertisements if they are seen as Russians trolling to change the outcome of Swedish elections. Russia wants Sweden to elect politicians who are against immigrants.

It should also be noted that the idea of the Jante law had the element of shame, which worked well with the justice system. Sweden has notoriously lax punishments for crime and that used to work very well because the pure shame was a large part of not committing crimes and getting arrested and convicted. Partially mitigating that was confessing to what you had done just like if your parents(the community) had caught you shoplifting. No one likes a liar that thinks he's fooling others.

That was what the Swedish justice system was built around but it's really struggling today. People are coming up with the most outrageous lies to excuse themselves, claiming they're so ignorant they could not have known it was illegal or just blames it on others and that's... well, that's a problem for the justice system.

It is almost as if they had a system that worked when they were all one culture and that is falling apart when people refuse to asimilate to it
