I got a suspicion that these "breadtubers/consoom-tubers" (incl. Act Man and all the other big gaming channels) are being directed either by their management or the social groups in these circles, to in some capacity targeting creators who are calling out the whole thing. If you love tinfoil hats (like Synth likes to hint at...), Youtube is astroturfing their numbers too, just to add some extra consensus credibility that "chud tubers, are le bad and not popular".
I always find it interesting whether if it's on Twitter, Twitch, YouTube e.t.c. These people always skip/clip to the woke part, and give the illusion that the whole channel is about that in question. Like the DEI segment tends to be a small and concise section of the videos, most of it is about the gameplay and in the video bump, you can see where new people tend click over.
It does make sense. Like say if I was an organic YouTuber and I disagreed with Synthetic Man on his video, I wouldn't just talk about the woke stuff, like I would criticise and say what he also got wrong when talking about gameplay. But most of these people always either play/react to clips from the video on the DEI section or react to that part in the case of the other YouTubers @PenguinSpy mentioned. Like Actual Jake skips over that part, and goes to the Story/DEI part, so it's clear he wants to only engage with that part, because that's what they only care about. These Bread/consoom-tubers would never deny or agree with the gameplay section, and always react to these parts is because that's what they're instructed to do either by the higher ups they're managed by or by the company they keep.

Simple question, no. It's all about the politics. YouTube is a left-wing supporting platform, hell all the corporatized internet is. It's far easier and even more lucrative (usually revenue from views and ads) to go after someone for "wrong think" than it is to actually talk about their takes on the game. If the usual suspects were told to talk about his non-political takes or not talk about him at all, no one would ever mention him. It's all a big game to make people think a certain way and not to silence the "wrong thinkers" but to demonize them in the minds of the average person. The people who "notice" are never going to be their audience so why try and win them over when you can make everyone coming in look at them with disgust?
