The new cope for KCD2 is that "the signs were always there" in the first game, but literally. ie Hans and Henry took a bath together once so they were always gay, and basically you're a chud in the closet. Be better.
The other cope is that "You never played the game", implying that the first one was woke because it was also full of faggots, using similar asspulls as above.
Kingdom Cummies are really pulling those unpaid all-nighters to prove the haters wrong, lmfao. They really thought that posting boobies and calling people who criticized the game "fake gamers" would save this garbage heap.

Gahhh thanks for telling me. Should've known something was up with how quick the upload went. Wasn't able to check the dl after. My bad. Will redownload and reupload.

God that stream was infuriating. He is 100% the textbook case for a person who wants to be unhappy, griping about standard Metroid-like resets. If the game started you out as a god instead he'd complain about it being too easy or there being no progression, or invent some other similar complaint.

I can understand your frustration. You don't like his taste in games, which I understand. But you should know he is a doomer, he will never stop being a doomer till he has more responsibility (like a wife and kid), he likes to complain about shitty modern games and wokeness, and him complaining makes him fuck tons of superchat money (it adds up to 500 to 1000 per stream) so he is financially rewarded to keep doing what he's doing.

Also, there's limit to slow pacing game. KCD2 has like 3 hour long tutorial plus movie game asslong cutscenes and even more essential NPC. it's just a downgrade from the first one in terms of respecting player's time and freedom (also there's woke shit, but I assume you already know but don't care)

I don't mind 3D platformers or character action games personally. I'm just not delusional about them like he is. Most people born before the year 2000 seem to have this personality defect that renders them incapable of engaging with videogames as 'art' (not talking about disliking moviegames, more of an inability to enjoy or appreciate qualities such as immersion, player expression, emergent gameplay, verisimilitude, choice and consequences, etc). Growing up with bing bing wahoo arcade bleep blorp instant gratification and having that be all that videogames can be calcified into your brain is Synthetic Man to a T.

Essential NPC's? I'd prefer always the Morrowind way of handling it where you can kill them, but it notifies you that you won't be able to complete quests. Woke shit? I dislike it of course as with any example of it, but this game's controversy has so clearly and obviously been taken out of proportion, probably because this was supposed to be "our based Euro dev". AC Valhalla, which I've never played, had comparable levels of crazy wokeness (Mongolian traders in Anglo-Saxon England, "Cheddar Man is Black therefore 20% of Scandinavians are black", etc) but didn't raise any significant shitstorm.
An issue I take with people like Synthetic Man and the sub-literate retards in the KCD2 thread on this site is how fucking pedestrian their arguments are. Coby's grey matter's been blown out by futa cock and has never read a single history book in his life. There's robust arguments to be made against the woke shit, it's just that to make them requires the slightest bit of education/interest in the subject. Yasuke existed IRL and it's a statistical impossibility that throughout the entire medieval HRE that a black person (most likely an Ethiopian) wouldn't have traveled to some part of it. The proper argument's not this historically illiterate "Yasuke wasn't a samurai" or "There were NO NIGGERS WHATSOEVER ANYWHERE", it's that those things are wild historical exceptions, outliers, remarkable because they are so rare, and to include them in the game is not representative of actual history. It's the same level of historical illiteracy & inauthenticity as having peasant revolts and republics abound because "look, Dithmarschen existed," or saying that because there were some corrupt popes that every single priest and devout believer should be some sinister atheist strawman.

They would have had a lot of free time in the winter/summer (if not unlucky enough to be drafted into war)... but worked like dogs during planting and harvest.

Also I'm pretty sure the average lifespan if you make it to adulthood is basically "as long as your teeth hold out." Menopause evolves in long lived animals with prolonged development (like people and whales) so that grandmothers can aide with rearing offspring and not burden themselves and their relatives with unviable pregnancies. In other words, paleolithic people were routinely living into their 50's or longer and while agriculture is not without it's risks or downside (famine, overpopulation), I would imagine the standard of living is at least comparable the hunter gatherer lifestyle it supplanted.

There is a kernel of truth to this but you are forgetting that consoles killed RTS. Companies want to maximize their audience and aren't going to make games that don't play well on TVs and controllers (and RTS checks both boxes). On PC the genre basically evolved into MOBA which scratches a similar itch. You are right in so far that certain elements come and go and those elements have their own draw (in this case the base building and macro get replaced with RPG/item mechanics). However, nobody was held captive by RTS games in 1996, we were sweaty as fuck over them. It's just the trend. It's like music history, you can't have rock without blues, and you can't have MOBA without RTS. People liked RTS and then they liked MOBA and now both are getting old.
