I find this reply interesting because it reveals that the excessive menuing in the game bothers you, however, when I said that the stealth based camouflage was bad, I didn't mean anything about menuing, crawling from grass patch to grass patch while the enemy is looking away is simply not fun, and the only reason I had any fun playing the game is that I started killing enemies instead of trying to avoid them. Also, the camouflage is far from the worst part of menuing in the game, first there's the medicine menu, which adds nothing, but doesn't really detract from the game if you know that wounds heal over time (and it's optimal to ignore the menu most of the time because it increases max hp). The camouflage is next in place, where it's a little bit annoying to change your camouflage every now and then. The food system is more annoying than that because you need to use it more frequently, but the inventory management is by far the worst and I hated having to sort through my bag whenever I needed to change my equipment. You gotta play it like a semi open world sandbox game. Just throw on some grassy camo and you won't have to change for hours.
Keep in mind that this is a very very specific type of grind though.I've been watching a bit of the Death Stranding streams here and there, is the hate from Synth for it warranted? Or is he just being a depressing fuck? Criticism against the walking stuff aside.
I can totally understand not even wanting to bother with the shitty story in videogames anymore. That's what I thought too. Was surprised to see Synth hate and skip the cutscenes/story bits, they seem like your usual Kojima.
I'd argue that being able to choose your desired approach is fantastic game design. MGS 3 gives you a problem and a surprisingly large amounts of tools to solve them (most times). You can sneak, you can snipe, you can go in guns blazing, you can go less lethal. There's features that feel almost like emergent gameplay: you can attack food stores and starve the soldiers for example. I wish MGS V carried over some of these features for their outposts. As for the menus they're a product of their time. However I argue that MGS V suffers more for the subtraction of features than MGS 3 does for their additions. If the trade off for having the ability to attack outposts indirectly is to be forced to eat every hour or so in game I wouldn't mind.crawling from grass patch to grass patch while the enemy is looking away is simply not fun, and the only reason I had any fun playing the game is that I started killing enemies instead of trying to avoid them.
I personally never minded, but I've heard some people play MGS3 and constantly try to switch to the "correct" camo which is retarded. But also, crawling is only one of the tools in your arsenal. Unless you're playing on the highest difficulty where enemies have amazing vision, running around in the open and finding cover works extremely well. You should be running from tree to tree way more, usually only crawling if guards are close.find this reply interesting because it reveals that the excessive menuing in the game bothers you, however, when I said that the stealth based camouflage was bad, I didn't mean anything about menuing, crawling from grass patch to grass patch while the enemy is looking away is simply not fun, and the only reason I had any fun playing the game is that I started killing enemies instead of trying to avoid them.
Yeah, this post nails it. MGS3 is emergent sandbox stealth and in many ways surpasses MGSV's sandbox elements. Places like Bolshaya Past Base, Rassvet, the mountain path, and Groznyj Grad are sandboxes that you can approach in any way. It's also meant to be a more atmospheric and slow game, which is why you have some levels where you're just crawling through an empty swamp or running through caves.I'd argue that being able to choose your desired approach is fantastic game design. I agree, Max Payne 3 is a perfect game; I can always come back to it, replay it from start to finish, and it'll still be fun as hell.the last good thing by rockstar was Max Payne 3

It's very amusing to me that the ACK Ma'am meme has gotten so far that literal tranny faggots are using it now (I wonder why he didn't call him ACK Ma'amBased literal tranny calls out a closeted cock chaser"
Yup, it's a typical "anti-wokeTM" drama video!
Neither is the lolcow thread dumbass, there was already a prediction that the lolcow thread won't be much and it will be just few ex Synth fans gripping all day long.Funny how this thread died down when Coby got his own thread. Almost as if a bunch of people finally realized that this isn't their own personal circlejerk and that the farms aren't their friend, that or they actually realized Coby is indeed a lolcow thanks to the simpgate fiasco.
