So this Syrsa guy has a major boobage fetish and submitted an incomplete game for review and then bawwed about the bad reviews? Is that it or is there more?

I think if he really worked on his game (really worked on it), it could actually become something. It would be a small, very weird, non-linear game centered around boobs and colostrum. TBH, if it was an actual playable game, I'd probably give it a shot. It already sounds way more interesting than Farming Simulator.

Someone mentioned earlier that he should just go for it - boobs everywhere - boob castles, boob mountains, boob headed monsters. That would be awesome. Milk volcanoes anyone?

I don't know shit about video game making other than making a couple failed FO mods. He seems to at least have the basics, right? Just not sure how to judge his work at this point. If he's actually capable of making a playable, boob themed, sci-fi game with no plot or objectives, I might consider following this guys progression.

Also - totally off-topic (but not really):
Why the fuck does that Church guy keep trying to force himself into other conversations? I get that lonely people post for attention but he's got an entire thread dedicated to him. So if you just want more attention, Church - "Hello and fuck off". If you want to play around being a "Kiwi", try adding something to the convo that isn't 100% about yourself. Start with something like 90% self-absorption and work down from there. Baby steps.

My main point in making the thread was his giant ego, how he submitted a game to a really nice, great streamer only to pull him into his drama when it didn't go his way, and won't listen to criticisms/gets super defensive. As well as the fact that Vinny is just not interested in fetish games, and SYRSA pestered and pressured him into playing it for MONTHS, only to get Vinny caught up in his drama. Again, it's all in the first post if you'd like to read it. I made the thread cause to me it just seems like the beginning. He may not go postal SOON, but I do see it happening in the future.

I got around to watching the whole video of the stream last night. What's hilarious to me is that the guy never really gave crushing criticism. In fact, he said it had great potential for a one-man project, and the only problems he encountered were a glitch and unpolished flight controls. I think the game looks pretty cool so far, but definately isn't finished. I think I'll try it out when I get the chance.

Let's try to get this thread back on its rails? @Cowlick, fuck off and go back to your thread, not everything is about you. I know a bunch of people called you over here, and now they are talking at you in circles here instead of in your own personal hell.

What the hell has SYRSA been doing since his visit here? His wiki has been inactive for 6 days.

A few other questions since it seems like he's left (for now):
(a) how old is he? and, (b) how long has he been working on his game?

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's either young or new to criticism (didn't know how to handle it). In fact - I would advise him against any critique at this early stage. I say finish the thing to the point where he's happy with it and then send it out. If people like it (on any level), great. If not, who cares? His fundamental mistake was asking the internet for critique. At best, he'll get a million different opinions on how to improve his thing (producing an anodyne mush) and at worst, he'll either be shot down to hell or hugboxed into self-delusion (the fundamental problem with Devart).

Granted, his shit is weird - but in his videos he states that he does this for his own reasons, not love or money so....? As far as deviancy - he likes boobs. Not dogs, not children but boobs. I also feel like he's not trying to force me into liking his "art".

I realize I might be white knighting but only because I understand how frustrating creating something can be and also because I like boobs. Then again, my initial opinion on cows is more often wrong. I'm just an old softie.

Also, Mook - did he draw your avatar? It's looks like his style. At this point, can we just defer all questions about him to you, his Kiwi representative and leave him alone to his art?

I drew it. He has rougher linework, and he can do shading far better than I can. He does all his stuff in flash, and I do mine in SAI.

You can ask me questions, but I might not know the answers to some of them.

Edit: Not to mention it takes me like 5 days to finish one drawing.

He's 23.

He is used to criticisms, but to his credit, yeah, he doesn't force it on anyone. I am honestly jealous of how much feedback he gets. I rarely get any for my art.

If you can even properly call what he does "shading". The dude has zero concept of value, color and contrast; sloppy cel-shading doesn't impress me.
