The vehicles don't have textures. Why work on jiggle physics when you're textures are non-existent. Normally in games like this the vehicles would show some kind of wear through their texture.

I think he should instead add a cell shading filter, to add the black outline present in his drawings. The textures are meant to represent a 2D world in 3D form from what I can see. Also, he's currently fixing the run animation as we speak, so he might not respond, I'll get it to him though.

This is starting to sound like Borderlands... but dirtier...

He's fine, though from what I can see, the sexualization issue is non-negotiable, so I think anyone trying to help him should focus more on other issues. I want to see Zerahypt wallowing in awkward success as much as he does.

See, if he wants to make a hyper-sexualized game I think he should go for it 100%. The real problem is trying to combine hyper-sexualization with a massively detailed sci-fi world and expect your project to be taken seriously as art. Either make porn or make art. You can't do both. The closest compromise he could come to is making a game like Scarlet Blade without all the pedo, which again I would be alright with.

Right now Zeraphypt feels like a game that doesn't know what it wants to be and I'm not just talking about porn vs art. All the vehicles are cool, but seem kind of pointless. If the game was like Twisted Metal in space I would get it.

Please make wolf skeleton titty DLC.

I will draw concept art if you want.

I drew it.

If you use I would like cut from the sales, kthnx.

You know, with a fully developed world and things to look at I wouldn't even think about the jiggle physics too much. Honestly that doesn't bother me. I mean, if there are going to be giant breasted creatures like the ones in your DA gallery, then I don't think it's going to be taken very seriously. However, I strongly admire your dedication and determination. I wish you all the best, I think with some TLC you can get it off the ground.

My newest Zerahypt update video on Youtube has the Downlaod link. Just download, zip and run.

Okay, so I downloaded this and played it for about half an hour, hitting all the areas and trying to fly all the working vehicles. These are my initial impressions:

Pros: I liked the ship designs.
Cons:The POV camera needs A LOT of work, I spent most of my time fighting the camera to look the way I wanted it to look. It's very slow to respond to changes and since it's not fixed to the vehicle you're in, the minute you change direction the camera is now completely useless until you wrangle it back in the right direction. It also occasionally floats around quite uselessly

The flight controls are very crude, for almost every single craft. With how finicky and sensitive the controls are, the sloppy camera makes it very tedious to control any of the vehicles without losing control of the craft or spiraling around, let alone doing any sort of complex maneuvering or look the right direction half the time. The instability of every craft made it difficult to appreciate any of the exploration.

Few of the non-flying ground vehicles worked except for their guns which were a chore to shoot since the turret direction seems to be tied with the camera's POV which again never cooperates. It doesn't really matter if you have several dozen unique vehicles if they all handle the same way: Badly. Nice to look at though. The tanks especially.

Every environment is brown. Light Brown, Dark brown, gassy brown, brown in the dark. Add some color to this game.

Why doesn't the main character have shoes/boots? Is that related to some fetish of yours as well?

In the map selecting computer, maybe don't make everything spin around. It's rather annoying to try and have to click the tiny prompts to select an area when the whole thing is revolving around, and the pins aren't exactly easy to spot either

I'll chalk this up to the fact this is a pre-Alpha but I didn't like the invisible border where the MC can't go because of "rubbish navigation equipment". Since I have no map to speak of this explanation falls flat, why do I need navigation equipment to go a few hundred yards from the base? Further, since you allow the craft to just keep going and only block the camera, it can make it challenging to get the craft back into the vague borders of the map.

I assume you'll address this in later updates but it would be nice if the game gave you any clue as to why you're even in this place and what your role is. I'm not going to some dA art page to understand the lore of this stuff, most people who try out your game aren't either and you shouldn't expect them to if you're already submitting this to the public for scrutinization (which I wouldn't have recommended, I honestly don't know what possessed you to badger a livestreamer to review this obviously unfinished pre-Alpha).
SOME background explanation is going to be needed for people who can't be bothered. So you may want to start fleshing out the story/lore of this universe if you expect anyone to try and take it seriously. You've said this is more art than game, but I've played games with that principle before and they still managed to have an entertainment aspect, otherwise there's no reason to try and get invested in the art of it.

tl;dr Fix the camera and flight controls and then people might not be so harsh about the lewd art stuff and booby physics. Focus on the fundamentals and then add the fetish fuel. Genuinely hope this helps you with your project in some way.

I can answer this one. No, he does not have a foot fetish, Thilian feet were designed as tough, solid, and very durable, negating the need for shoes. I don't know why specifically, but that's what he's told me.

He's already said he thinks up this shit as a way to justify his weird fetishes.

That said, I had no idea the player character was a Thilian. She looks human enough to me.

He's very verbal about what he likes and doesn't like, in fact, the Thilian foot is very undetailed in most of his work. Well designed, but there to serve a purpose, and not as eyecandy.

She's an alien, not sculpted by evolution, but actively designed by a powerful being named Tyg, who specifically designed Thilians to resemble human females. She took interest in the humans, because they were bipedal, like she was in her original form, and from her confused perspective, she misunderstood childbirth as 'creating life' something that she hadn't thought of in her existence. With this goal in mind, she created the Thilians, and based their appearances and physiology on the very beings that inspired her.

I've been a fan for years, so I got lore all up in my booty.

I'm sorry but we don't allow sockpuppet accounts here.

I just frequent his stream, you can ask anyone there about my validity. I'd also like to point out that Ben's first language isn't English, and he has consistent artifacts in both his speech and script that aren't at all present in mine. I was in a skype call with him while he was in here, he's been asleep for 5 hours by now.

Edit: Also, he's had more than one channel reach subscriber bases in the millions in his time. Scoutelitte, Dutvutan exc. is it really hard to believe that he's kept at least one consistent fan?

So, if I try to explain my lore, will anyone take me seriously? Because having to verify myself seems like a step towards reasoning.

So. The point of Zerahypt is to simulate this fictional universe I've worked on for about 10 years. A universe which I like to put explanations to every day problems I face. Such as when I started drawing my fetishes. Like there must be some underlaying cause to my fascination of some of the things I've portrayed through my art. Like, I want to make some logical sense out of it rather than simply treat it as a sexualized, pornographic matter.

It's not just about the kinky things you seem to notice first, like Pirizuka's jiggling boobs. Her culture is proud over baby feeding mammaries, so why should they not be allowed to invent clothing which enhances their physics? Sure, it would be a problem for Pirizuka, but it's not as different as in some earth cultures where people put some intense piercings through their bodies, or perhaps a peacocks cripplingly large tail.

And since Zerahypt is still under development by only me, creating the 3D models, coding it, adding my own sounds and all of that. I have added lore elements such as the landscapes, buildings, vehicles and the flying island that you start off from which is called a Zerzek. I keep all of this in my head and I seldom write it down because It's easier to manage something which is within my mind rather than a Wiki page that I have to update every now and then, such as: http://terrahypt.wikia.com/wiki/Terrahypt_Wiki

And I will definetly add a library-like feature inside Pirizuka's Zerzek where you can find all kinds of information about the lore.

I can't stress it enough, even though that some of my art looks extremely porny, I'll never give up coming up with fascinating facts to explain even the most bizarre things. The lore is there, so long as you can look past Piri's physique. I just keep seeing posts here relating to it and nothing else. There are robotic and vegitative NPCs to find in the desert, but they are promptly ignored. The wooden maze is full of interesting items and creatures, but no one spoke of it. The amount of vehicles alone isn't anything to sneeze at. The mining features are one particular feature that I have gone in depth with especially, but people haven't so much as thought about it. My artwork is distracting, I get it, but I worked very hard on these features, and it's disheartening to see them put on the backburner like this.
Now that you've been kind enough to explain it, I think it goes without saying that your game, without any of that weirdness would only have more merit in the eyes of any potential player. Unless you want to just appeal to a niche audience, even then, there is nothing wrong with that approach either. However, I feel the more internet-savvy will see through to the paper-thin veil masking your implemented kinks in a heartbeat, and write it off. It is up to you to decide what is worse. I saw through it within seconds.

My opinion: If you want a well received game by the majority, gut all the weird breast shit. No exceptions. If you want artistic integrity, leave it in. It is all your choice.

Lol, there are Muslim terrorists in this post-earth, space-exploration game? You could try adding credible villains, objectves, maybe even a tutorial, and some weapons to the game, y'know, to make it feel like a game. There has to be some sort of reward to make you keep playing. Look at something as simple to design as Portal. The minimalistic level design and voice work build a horrifying and immersive narrative as you solve the puzzles. One does not get turned off from the game initially either because the first few levels are easy, and getting to the elevator at the end of each one is so satisfying, you want to keep going. Your game needs something to keep things interesting.

Are you implying the word of allah isn't eternal? Infidel...

Despite his boob inflation fetish, Syrsa has some skill in art and being able to program something is impressive even though the game has flaws. However, Syrsa seems to be in the same category with Andrew Dobson and Phil Fish of having talent yet having cockiness and arrogance of a lolcow.

But Syrsa, hopefully you will learn something to improve yourself in this thread and if not well, we can get some amusement out if it. Lets hope for the former.

syrsa, i think you should try to seperate this really cool sci-fi project from your fetishes. i'm pretty sure others in the thread have said so too. but please heed that advice.
I don't know if I can force myself to regulate this bizarre world so you don't get to see some of the important cultural aspects. But would it really be sci-fi, without the "fetishes"? I mean, let us be real here. Science usually studies taboo matter for the sake of discovering interesting information, and Fiction is something that relies on creativity and artistic imagination.

The Abyathni Clan for example, which is a clan populated by Thilians who donates their milk to feed their people, and produce casein which you can make fibers, clothes and plastics out of. If I'd remove that due to people feeling uncomfortable and assuming that it's nothing but a fetish, I'd lose my hope for humanity.

Seriously, imagine a boat with sails and everything made from just milk. Is that ONLY going to be passed off as a fetish? The plastic in question is Galalith, google it, it's biodegradable and non-toxic. I'm sorry if I appear to be arrogant and defensive. But I find this way too interesting to just cut it out from my world.

Add my wolf titty skeleton to your lore, plz.

It makes just as much sense as ships made from giant titty milk.
