Multiplayer in a game with limited resources that forces you to scavenge. How the fuck does that work?

Very carefully. You need people on the same page and kind of decent cooperation to get things going, but it helps that SS2 is in the end quite the easy game if you play it as intended and don't purposefully gimp yourself with some weirdo build.

But it's not for the random pick&play crowd for sure.

The fact there isnt any good mod to add the OG soundtrack to ReShock is a tragedy.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in a weirdo universe. I love SS1's soundtrack (to the point I occasionally put it on just to enjoy the music). I've never clearly understood the crusade against both SS1's and SS2's soundtracks: sure, SS1 has a lot of underlying systems that clearly don't work as intended but it has a charm, even tracks like Reactor that are flat-out peculiar. The lack of it for the remaster did indeed dent my appreciation of it, the new soundtrack is a thing the old one wasn't: forgettable. I've understood even less the hate for SS2's music: it's like people have inbuilt expectations that a horror game needs an ambient soundtrack and SS2's techno does not fit just because.

I can't even imagine going into Med-sci fighting Hybrids without the pumping electronics, it adds to the frenetic feeling of chaos. I'll never get it, I guess.

you just explained it yourself, nightfags are SS2 fans, not SS1 fans and they went up on about the retarded remake culture line of thinking that "i can do better" and tried to turn SS1 demake into SS2, their biggest crime to me is extending the fucking cyberspace sections, they are shit in the OG but they never overstay their welcome and with the enhanced edition mouselook it makes shodan piss fucking easy in comparison to the original controllers, i tried both control schemes and had a hard time with shodan on hard with og controls, nearly got hacked, on the fucking remake they drag on and on and on, it's so fucking annoying, whoever came up with the idea shodan's bossfight should give her iframes for animation bullshit should be considered for capital punishment.

also modern gay shit of ambience soundtracking, you can easily bet that medsci's track is most listened because many people that play system shock 2 usually get filtered once they have to fight the first robot on their way to engineering which makes them never hear the other level soundtracks.
which makes me puzzled as to why they went for the ambient soundtrack gayness since medsci's track is anything but ambient but i guess it's the "i can do better" retarded line of thinking from remake culture shit, because they said that the music doesn't fit the horror ambience, i member seeing that shit on /v/ when people in nightdive's discord were shilling the remake all the time.

Here is a little reminder if forgotten, the audio with the lesbian drama that was put in the first System Shock remake.

There is also this race swap.
White erasure.webp

So be prepared for the idiots that do these remakes to do this stupidity again in System Shock2 remake.

What the fuck are you guys even talking about? Last thing I heard is that they want to do a SS2 remake, but they haven't even started basic development. If we're gonna get ultra nitpicky with what is wokism, then OGSS2 was also woke because the recreation deck has a dead man in the sensual stimulation center, inside a room with a (broken) male holo-partner.
SS2 isn't even that good to begin with
You take that back, it's janky but the jank is what makes it great.

Simple, they never played it and pretend to be gigaexperts just because they watched someone else playing it or they're regurgitating what essayist/reviewer number 95544982748784 said about it. When you actually play the game you find out the techno tracks are actually pretty good at keeping you tense where they play (Engineering is one of the best examples IMO), and there's plenty of spooky ambient tracks for other areas anyway.

Cyber Modules get duplicated.

Other than that there's kind of enough resources to go around for most things.

Seriously though, look at this MP trailer. They seriously tried this two weeks ago when their "restoration of a long lost feature" was as busted as it is.

>Remaster
>Literally the same old game with some graphic and gameplay touchups, no extra stuff besides some mods
There was an attempt at shit stirring. Lmaoing at the Dean Takahashi-tier reviewer whining about everything.
This is no attempt of shit stirring, the woke shit have been going on for years now. One thing we have learned never trust any of these remakes, what ever they say, so dont go celebrate yet.

ewww
Funny how all those "based" reviewers who told us this was the best game of 2023 never bothered to mention this.

to be unfair, it was a kickstarter backer shit, it was specifically backed to own le chuds btw.

What, they had a kickstarter and one of the tiers was literally "we will include a dyke audio drama to own le chuds!" tier?
If that's the case, I don't think I can ever take Nightdive seriously ever again

I was one of them that was looking forward to the system shock remake, since i played the old game years ago. So to find out they do this woke shit on purpose and ruin old games was very disappointing. When you hear someone gonna do a remake of a old game always do your own research, never trust reviewers.

I'm surprised Fleek didn't mention this in his review, you would think this would make for a good punchline to a joke. I guess maybe he never found this audio log? He seems like the kind of guy who skips dialogue when playing an RPG since he's more interested in killing shit.

Thats the thing, they sneak in this woke shit and then years later they can say look system shock is a pro lgbt game and it always has been. This is how these woketards work, they always try rewrite history to fit their woke shit.

Except that you can easily google that it's not true. All it shows is that the devs are tools.
