That's something they should have been planning 6-10 months ago. When I say switched future development to an actual product after only relying on prints for the first 4 sets of factions or so. Modeling for 3d printing, setting supports setup right etc, and then needing to re-engineer everything to be on sprues later is duplication of work for effectively no gain which just means more cost. If they're only just now muttering about it, that means it's still a very long way off.

I don't think their current designs could be re-engineered for plastics, they'll have to start completely from scratch for that.

It's sad WGA got involved with it. They're one of the better companies and I don't want them dragged through the mud when it goes south.

They didn't, at least not yet. The Trench Missionaries are by a guy from MiniWarGaming.com so they're unofficial and are yet another example of other people taking the TC team's lunch money because they're dumb.

Yes, the public groups did. There's also a reason I included "or wherever" as there are other places to find these things as well. If it's something with any amount of popularity, the STLs are out there. And all of the "official" TC stuff that's been released is definitely out there without much effort required to find. Which is again, terrible for a long term business model. Who the hell wants to take the time to paint minis(plastic or printed) for a game that's going to be dead within a couple of years and even before that doesn't have much "life" to begin with? I sure as hell don't.

I don't believe they did either, which is why I'm saying it would require paying someone to fix all of the shit. You don't just setup the sprues to be a single part, that's silly. Cutting the model up to arrange on the sprue is part of the work that would need to be done. How do you think GW or any other company does this? It's all been digital for years now.

IIRC, that supplement was supposed to be its own campaign, but when the first Kickstarter blew up, they decided to fold it into that one instead, so it makes sense that it'd be given to the backers. I'm assuming they've been too busy wrangling Only-Games and tinkering with the rules to work on it, but who knows.
