It’s already funny enough how Elon Musk's shitposting makes him a boogeyman in the 5E community, not showing interest in tabletop gaming outside of making fun of how gay D&D is becoming. PaladinProse making fun of anyone for being insecure males is hilarious. Low-T males deserve the anxiety they have on social media.

Bolt action by Rick Priestley, the guy who made. GW what it actually is. He left the company. Ten years ago, because it became way too cororate. Who actually understands how to design TTRGS and War Games. Nothing scares away transgenders like National Socialist being a faction.

Hasn’t rules hacks and 3rd party content been part of tabletop rpgs for more than a decade. There are entire rpgs that are just variations of the d20 system or apocalypse world. There are companies based around making rules hacks and homebrew popular systems. There is a lot of third party content made for D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and variations on Apocalypse World.
Also, Onyx Path/White Wolf did Kickstarters before 2015.

The stupidity of this amazes me. Yes, playtesting shit for years before coming up with something that can be published as a product people will be interested in is a thing. But what the fuck does that have to do with being a white man? Do white men just have magical 36 hour days to get shit done in? Do white men somehow not need sleep and get more time in a day that way?

Or maybe it's because the random white guy in his late 30s or early 40s that is publishing a game finally has been working on it for 20 years just like any white woman, black woman, brown man, or whatever? Oh that's right, those people chose not to do that.
This has been going on for decades. It's how people were homebrewing classes that eventually got published as D&D classes, and of course entire game systems of which it seemed like there was at least one new system a month in the 80s and early 90s long before the internet was a thing because people have been doing that sort of thing this entire time. Hell, Pathfinder basically only exists because in 2009 Paizo decided they'd make their own D&D 3.5 but "better".

No, because as it's been discussed before those stories are usually just from r/dndhorrostories and r/rpghorrorstories and never actually happened or everyone involved including the person who posted the nonsense is an idiot. People treat that shit like a creative writing prompt.

One shills too much, one drags it out too much, and I hate the avatar that moves for one due to me being reasonably sure they're into beastiality and due to it looking fucking creepy. Doesn't help a lot of the reddit stories they read are mostly there to farm clout and are written like shit now.
I hadn't heard of the two besides critcrab, but that doge one... holy shit that's disturbing. Not quite a fursona, but in a creepy uncanny valley.

Story
Writer gets surprised by his friend being attracted to them? Wtf does this have to do with D&D? Then the DM gets a girlfriend. Storyteller has a new character at the table for a new game with a ridiculous and convoluted backstory to justify repeatedly playing the same character at a table, which is fucking boring. DM has NPCs flirting with his GF, and giving loot at the GF somehow the party isn't dividing shit up themselves? Story teller with main character backstory complains about the DM's GF acting like a main character and whines about being interrupted. Asks the DM for some bullshit divine intervention from their shit backstory. Whines more about not being the main character, says they went "pouty and non verbal" ok so you've got a problem with being interrupted so your idea of getting your point across is to not speak at all so you don't get interrupted? This is dumb. Even the fucking crab guy calls everyone involved a fucking idiot.
Clearly the DM has been feeding his GF shit in advance about the game. Congrats, you've got a DM basically having their GF cheat at the table. Even if the GF was new to TTRPGs, she wasn't aware enough to think this is weird? DM gives the writer some bullshit orb hallucination thing where the writer whose character is a dead god(seriously? that's acceptable as a backstory to anyone?) has a twin, the GF. Throws a fucking tantrum because the new GF gets to share the stupid special snowflake backstory. Continues whining about how the GF interrupts them, but shouldn't be a surprise when their response is just to be silent.
Eventually gets told by the DM that the GF's character isn't a copy of anything, and the player is being shitty and inattentive(probably due to that pouty and nonverbal crap), says they want to leave the game, gets told to leave the table entirely. But then everyone else quits too! And the other players that quit then invite the OP to another campaign so they can finally "give D&D a real chance" even though this is their repeatedly recycled character.
And that last bit is the part that convinces me this shit never fucking happened. The entire story is nonsense written by someone who wanted to be the special snowflake MC, bitches about being interrupted(but not to the DM or anyone else at the table) and then talks about how they just go silent and not interact with shit but then the bad guy DM and his GF end up at the table by themselves while the rest of the players including the author get their new game where the writer of this nonsense can once again re-use their bullshit dead god reborn as a demi-god backstory character.
And that's just clicking on the first video from one of the 3 channels that I was willing to sit through.

Trench Crusade just confirmed they'll be moving their whole range to plastics via Archon Studios and dropping STLs and resin almost entirely, except for accessories, terrain and a few special models. Printerfags are complaining in the comments, but honestly it's the only decision that makes sense. This way they can get their product into stores and have a continuing source of income and they'll never have to worry about Only-Games fucking them over again.
Speaking of, my models finally arrived. Most of them are in good shape, but there were several with uncured spots and scratches where someone got careless removing the supports, plus they sent me an incorrect model. It's not as bad as I'd feared, but it just confirms my opinion of OG as a bunch of incompetent fuckups who shouldn't have been trusted with something this big. I'm guessing the TC people are feeling the same way, based on the tenor of this post and their recent comments in the Kickstarter updates

Having physical items in store is the only way for trench crusade to survive, if they can do the opposite of privateer press and keeps shelves stocked in stores outside the United States they might have a fighting chance.

What could also be useful is to drop 10 man sprues of generic soldiers from each faction with a handful of weapon options. People would love cheap traitor guard and the Heretic Legion would fit that aesthetic.
