even the GW skirmish game, killteam fairs pretty favourably, they're much more expensive kits, but, for the most part, they're one and done purchases with only a few needing a 2nd box to complete a roster or le "optimal" choices and most of the kits are better value per dollar, the faction they choose to have a plastic kit, the antioch prussians, are the cheapest faction points wise, so you'll have enough for the first game of 700 ducats, but will have to buy another box (which will have more elites that you have a limit on) or you'll have to stack on more equipment, which is funny, because afaik from my skimming of the reddit, Antioch is the one faction that benefits more from getting more bodies on the table than upgrading individual troops beyond the basics, which the assembly guide for the most part recommends (as seen below)
So, if the players buy the lone official box, they'll be stuck with a team that favours numbers, but has none, and are expensive to boot, with sub optimal builds that wont do well (afaik, i have no idea if its the same with the rework) New Antioch is the faction i see get the most spergery because its the easiest to kitbash for (just get your regular WW1/WW2 dudes, slather on some garish washes on them, make a cross out of sticks, and you're done), but they're the imperial guard of the setting, where you have to be clever with overwhelming amounts of basic dudes with shit shooting/fighting, with decent commanders that buff their mooks, and they arent event tough commanders for the game, afaik, Apparently the hell troopers are the easiest starter faction.
