Just to reiterate on my previous point, the left largely ignoring space marine 2 vs attacking it relentlessly(like hogwarts legacy for instance) I think will really come back to bite them in the ass with 40k. I truly think with the popularity of that game that GW got the message that 40k, still and has always, attracted guys who want masculinity in their setting, and not these weird fags or troons. The femstodes unfortunately have been made a sacrifice to see whether canonizing female marines would negatively effect sales for the army. It will of course, it sucks that custodes had to be the test subject so that upper managment can tell the leftist idpol fuckers at gw that female marines will never be a thing because it would tank the company.

Even if they've drawn the line in the sand, its kinda retarded to try and designate 40k properties as chuddy or not. Plus, Russian dev aside, it also had no culture war tism behind it like Hogwarts. I don't think there was anything fundementally haram like an association with HP, if you think that being masculine is enough. Well, guess what barely passing fad troons enjoy for the most part, unless its explicitly chuddy, any masculine properties can be simply enjoyed by troons because that is what they are at heart

The fact it has no culture war behind it is one of those things that shocks me the most. Everyone who plays it loves the ultra-masculinity about it, yet there is no wokeist outrage about it. Consider, that this game also portrays the space marines as the heroes of the story and not the “heroes” leftists try to say they are with muh satire and muh media literacy.

Space Marines being heroic enough to be marketable but still using the imperium as autistic pseud argument fodder is a feature, not a bug. It lets them sell plastic tat to people who don't give a shit while getting goodboy points from the "muh fascism satire" crowd, who also consoom said plastic anyways

That was retarded from day one. For all that the Imperium is a brutal and callous creature, literally everything else in the setting is worse for the average human. And yeah, the average spess mehreen probably gives zero fucks about the random peasants on a random planet, but they're still working 24/7 to stop the other horrible denizens of the galaxy from completely rolling over the human worlds. Being a nice person is not a prerequisite for heroism, as those like Gilgamesh and Odysseus could easily attest to.

C ending is still better than the F. It still beats seeing dad get beaten to death or turned into a servitor because he said a bad word about the local administratum giving him a citation for inefficiency for not meeting his 27 hour a day minimum work shift.

40k is a crapsack setting. There are good people scattered here and there, but no good factions, and no good endings. I can still enjoy it regardless, and yes, that goes for Space Marine 2. I liked the game just fine, my only gripe was that it didn't take long to see everything it had to really offer.
