Congratulations, you don't have anything to play the game with. Why? Because for whatever fucking reason Bandai put the wrong bases in the package with the models in the TCG bundles. Since the bases need to fix on the hex grid with layers, and still allow multiple models being within base to base contact, you've already got to rip the bases off(and a couple of the models have scenic bases like the guncannon) replace them with... oh wait they didn't announce a SKU for that.
This is weird. You say 3d printing can replace the terrain but it can't replace the bases? Same deal.
If everything beyond the basic 3v3 requires both players to have and agree to use specific teams for this, this game may as well be DOA. I'm not going to take the time to get models I like, paint them, go to the store, and then have to try and convince some IBO loving faggot to play something other than IBO shit because I don't want IBO models nor do I want to handle their IBO models that they just happened to bring either.
You sound like such a faggot man. Witch is disgusting and I don't want to deal with the trannies who like it. But saying you can't play a game because someone else might play a faction you don't like it just weird. You're being overly autistic in the autistic games thread.

I never said a damned thing about WfM. Don't turn my post into your gay fanfic because you're into the gay yaoi shit that IBO was. Just because someone doesn't like the gay yaoi series, doesn't mean they like the gay yuri series either. You just outed yourself as an IBO yaoi loving fanboy who can't handle it when someone calls the show what it is.

I also never said anything about not wanting to play because my opponent was a faggot playing shit from IBO. If you read what the fuck was in the screenshot that I included in the post from the video, 2 of the 3 scenarios shown appear to require both players to have models from a specific series. You could say that maybe that's not the case for the a baoa qu since it's at least a 5v5 and we know there's already going to be other ships like the archangel included. That doesn't make any sense for the gundam seed 3v5 asymmetrical battle to have any kind of real balance if it doesn't involve specific suits.

So your fucking yaoi brain can understand this, it would be the equivalent of going to the store to play a game of 40k, only to find out everyone wants to play some scenario that requires space marines vs genestealers, and you didn't bring either faction.

This is weird. You say 3d printing can replace the terrain but it can't replace the bases? Same deal.
Not everyone has a 3d printer, a friend with one, wants to use a shop to print shit for them, and not everyone needs to print a set of terrain, hence the entire point I made about it lowering the barrier to entry and being cheap. Not having bases to sell people who will need them is a shit business decision, because again... not everyone has or is interested in a 3d printer or knows someone with one. Even GW sells bases even though their models are all sold with bases.

Did your yaoi brain just forget how to fucking read after you saw IBO get insulted?

As a Gundam enjoyer, im cautiously optimistic of the new tabletop wargame. My problem as others stated is that bandai has a dogshit record when it comes to long time support for well almost anything. I dont think is a [insert ip] Killer, i think it will have its place provided bandai doesnt fuck it up. Looking forward for the 00 and G Gundam models

I got really addicted to their yugioh episodes. WH40K playing the batshit children's card game was the absurdity I needed.
This sounds like something I'd enjoy watching, could I kindly request a link?

I wish the Gundam Wargame would have a bigger scale where you control squadrons. Maybe epic scale would have been great, mixing it with actual warships and stuff. Will never happen though.

Edit: IBO is indeed gay. Witch too. I miss a proper UC OVA.

People always forget that Gundam like Battletech has aircraft, tanks, infantry, and other equipment. Again, if done well it can hit a niche really hard. I just do not expect them to do it right, since for all people screech captive audience for WarHams, that's still somehow more competent that its peers for the most part.

The two player starter comes with Balls and Oggs. They're both effectively space tanks. Strap a gun on a civilian use forklift and put child soldiers in them to pad out numbers. The IBO starter comes with 3 of the little worker tanks they have as a unit. They're including the aircraft and tanks as a squad for 1 unit.

There's also genuine tanks like the Magella Attack and the Type 61. There's also aircraft and roles. Also dedicated land battleships and other equipment outside of just the mecha. Again, there is material there. I just have no expectations that Bandai will use it well.

They are literally doing it..

You think I'm just some kind of LLM who only exists to serve you meatbags?

Nah I got you fam. You alright.

I think searching the channel for card game will find more.
That was incredible, thank you.

Archon studios dropped another Starcraft AMA today. More specific details about future releases and prices for March 10th's pre-orders. Discount bundles for this specific period and future solo boxes.

While the bundles are fairly reasonable and it IS fairly cheap to get an army to full power (2k minerals, low model density game) - the dollar per model value of the non bundles is not great. Even if you need less models to play a satisfying game size. This will for sure negatively impact the initial impressions of ignorant consumers and potential customers. I say this as someone who's still planning on dropping a couple hundred in support and genuine interest in the alternating activation game system.

For a fledgling game like this with almost no marketing, they need to be asking a bit less. Diehard fans will buy it and shill for you regardless but you need more than just them to succeed. They are making an effort to pull in SC fans who don't already play tabletop with the colored plastics and smaller armies, but those people are likely to bail if they see GW esque prices. Enfranchised tabletop players who already like Starcraft and WOULD be interested have already bought in to other games and may struggle or be unable to budget out giving SC a chance when they could instead be investing in things like 11th ed for 40k.

What is going on with Turnip 28? It had some popularity a while ago and seemed to be a draw to historical gamers wanting a bit of fantasy. I still see videos of people making models for it, so there's still some sort of support for it. I assume Tranny crusade stole the player base as it's the same retarded idea with a slightly different time frame.

Looks like it's priced the same as every other computer to tabletop game. The licensing fees jack up the cost so you end up within GW's price range. We have a weird cost divide in this hobby where everything is either dirt cheap (Perry, WGA, Oathmark) or it's an artisan product with over inflated costs. There isn't much of a middle ground where something like this should fit.

It will sell extremely well on kick starter. Whales will make it a best selling product for a month and then it's dead. No one playing it, talking about it or painting figures. Same old story for all these IPs.

Never heard of it.

dead honest:
It is me. I am the consooomer goycattle slop horfer here. As long as it wasn't absolutely stupid I was ready to put some bucks for Space marine squad to paint (lol, listen to this guy. nigger you know you ain't gonna paint shit) and never play. But its pretty fucking stupid and I hate the sculpts.

Probably, only while tranny crusade went for grimderp, Turnip is just groan inducing quirkiness. It's the same as a person who overly quotes Monty Python.
