Because usually there's little content discussing the retail side of things from actual retailers? If you've got other sources, post 'em. It's not like I post every video from this channel. Oh no I posted a video from their channel 3 weeks ago, while ignoring 5 others... again, with a summary for those not interested in watching the video. And when did I post a video(again with a summary) before that? A month before the last skipping what appears to be 17 videos of theirs that didn't have anything interesting at all going on.
If I were one of them(and I'm not Canadian), I'd be doing a piss poor job of promoting the channel and giving people a reason to not even bother clicking on the video.
edit: I went back and looked, it's 3 videos of theirs I posted across 2 months. Someone else posted a video of theirs within that same span of time. I had to go back through the thread to September to find another video from that channel that I posted, and it was about troon crusade being a failure.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Bro, I'm not going full
@Kofi Drinka because you did include a summary (thank you)
But I'm also going to agree with him these niggas you post are absolutely worthless. They have nothing to say and take 40 minutes to say it. Even at 2x speed they are just painful to listen to droning on and never getting to the point or saying anything of worth. I am guessing you are one of those people who has NPR-level mindless drivel in the background to keep you from being lonely or w/e and maybe they're good for that, but for anyone who actually watches videos these guys are terrible.
anyway, to the actual content you summarized (again, thank you)
I guess that means that stores won't push Starcraft very hard nor carry a lot of inventory. So what do YOU (and not those faggot leafs) think that will mean? the game dies on launch because of no FLGS pushing it?
I think the game itself has a lot going for it, so clearly someone in the design chair knows what they're doing, but they are not businessmen. They dont allocate enough time to action on community feedback - something they seem to model their strategy around which makes their choices schizophrenic. They over communicate in some areas and under communicate in others. They spent very little on marketing and Blizzard themselves didnt even bother to make a short form link to the pre order launch on Battlenet. The moment preorders started two of their websites exploded despite the game being still relatively unkown, getting in the way of orders, the only one alive was Gamefound and was charging innacurate shipping. They didnt validate if the prices of their products outputted properly on some sites, or validated that they were accurate to each region. Complete shit show
I'm not into wargaming (insert D&D 4e jokes here), so correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've seen, once you get above the Tier-1 units the war game only maps so-so to the game, and I really think they are missing the mark on a lot of people who might want to play this game - that is, Star Craft players - getting utterly crushed if they try to add in their favorite units.
The starter boxes look great, but even trying to add in Protoss units its pretty fucking nuts for unpainted plastic.
and I think what a lot of wargames I've seen miss: its not just dollar-per-point or cost-per-model. ITs "how much does it take for me to get started?". Two player starter sets are nice, but if I just want to play zerg, its still like $100 to buy in and I might not like it.
