Pharaoh had some amazing lines in the Yugioh episode, and the Bartleby dance scene in the ice cream truck ep was god-tier, but if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the bake-off at the county fair. I will never ever get enough of Bartleby's parents.

Might get some shit for saying this but this year hasn't be terribly great for Tamers content. He's gotten a lot better recently but after Summer Camp there was a noticeable decline in humour in his episodes. No idea why this happened, maybe it's him working on WW3, maybe it was being burnt out after creating the behemoth of an episode, who knows. Still better than most other content though.

But back to the question. My favourites from this year would be
  • Cyrus's Dad Finally Comes Home
  • Sonic The Hedgehog Duels Yugi Muto To Become The King Of Games
  • The Hedgehog Family Finally Eats Out At A Chinese Buffet.

I mildly agree with you, I've been watching his channel for the past 3-4 years, and this is the first year where there were a few duds, like the bake sale and baseball episode. I hope that the obligation to the Patreon doesn't cause there to be a loss of passion, a.k.a "turning it into a job". I also have a theory that Tamers' laptop breaking has something to do with WW3 still not being out, and I would imagine losing a lot of work with that would fuck anyone's shit up. The Sleepover episode censorship probably didn't help either. That being said, there were still some really great episodes and moments.

Honestly Tamers12345, if for whatever reason you are reading this, it's ok to take a break and relax. Go on a vacation if you can afford it, just step away for a second if you're feeling out of it a little. I know that Youtube tends to not shine kindly on people taking breaks; a lot of Youtubers talk about needing to constantly upload in order to stay relevant, But I think you have the kind of fanbase that will understand if you need to kinda recharge. We'll still be here for sure, bitch.

I think what caused it was Summer Camp. Think about it. Summer Camp was a massive video to make, he either started working on or was working on World War 3 and it was a period where Tamers experienced a massive influx of new users and patreon money. It doesn't help that at the beginning of the livestream of Summer Camp people were shitting on his choice to change the voices of some characters, which seemed to piss him off as he called out people in the livechat and left that weirdly out of character message in the comment section.

I think it's completely understandable and fair to assume Tamers just got burnt out at this point. His following videos afterwards weren't spectacular, with some being genuinely bad (Bake Sale is one of the worst episodes imo). I think Patreon did put a bit of pressure on him to pump out videos fairly regularly, so that's why his post-Summer Camp videos were so lackluster. They still have some funny moments, like you said, but they are largely forgettable (with exception of the Christmas episodes and the Yugioh episode).

Things are looking up though. The Chinese Restaurant episode was brilliant, felt exactly like an episode Tamers would have made in his prime. Cryus's Daddy Returning was another banger as well, might be up there for me. The Oracle episode was decent-ish. I have no doubts WW3 will be perfect (I theorise this Halloween coming will be WW3's release date) and with that stress lifted off his shoulders, he can bring his full focus onto regular episodes.
 
Great episode IMO

I like that the entire episode was just a way to shit on Manic's singing voice actor for having a YouTube channel with barely any subscribers
