Someone mentioned Tamers in chat and I'd remembered Oney bringing him up, was not prepared for how fucking good it is. I've watched pretty much every one of the main episodes in a few weeks.

Has there ever been a theory that Oney or his friends are involved at all? Not because of the shout out but the art feels very similar at times, humor not too dissimilar (just more extreme), etc. There's a few shots were faces look like something Chris would draw, some of the "sexy" overly animated parts look like Spazkid drew them. I also think Zach Hadel mentioned trying to get Tamers for Smiling Friends but that may just be wishful thinking causing me to hallucinate. Maybe if they didn't start the project they may be involved in the art of later episodes in particular, maybe just as hired help?

Bud Lite should have hired Uncle Chuck to represent their brand instead of Dylan Mulvaney.

I know Chrischan was very nearly in it, but I think there was another interview where they mentioned other people they'd like to have be in the show. I'll see if I can find it (if it is real), I've watched a lot of shit about Smiling Friends so might take me a while.

EDIT Looked through the transcripts for a few interviews but nothing, consider it fake news for now and I'll keep an eye out.

That cameo caught me totally off guard and of course he’s got food from Quiktrip LOL. As for the episode as a whole, it was nothing special, but it was still good. Wonka was a fun antagonist.

Clearly Jaleel White let the fact he started voicing nearly every fucking character by the third DiC sonic cartoon go to his head.
