Target moving to gender neutral signage for toys

Target is moving to gender neutral signs in toy and decor sections in some stores. What do you all think about this?

Personally I don't think it's that big of a deal, but it's funny to see people going apeshit over it. Sure, most girls like girls toys and most boys like boys toys, I understand there are biological differences here, but a lot of kids don't and the kids probably aren't going to care about the change that much. It might very well introduce some kids to new toys they wouldn't look at otherwise. A lot of people are saying it's "confusing" but if you're an adult and can't figure out which aisle has Barbie dolls in it without it being pink and labelled GIRLS I think you may have a problem. Also, they were probably having a lot of issues figuring out which isle the My Little Pony toys should go in and this helps solves that.

Someone trolled a bunch of these idiots with a fake Facebook account:

What do you think?

Honestly, I feel like this is such a minor non-issue. So what if they remove that line between boy and girl toys? Why is this such a big deal for so many people? Kids like toys, no matter what gender they are. It's based on personal taste and interest, or visual aesthetic, not what chromosomes a kid has. People need to lighten up.

When people stray from gender norms, people become pretty assholish.

This becomes an issue when the people want to be assholish but Target is making it harder for them. That's why people are so pissy. "I want to mock the girly-boy for playing with girl toys but target won't let me!! >:("

Mcdonalds went through the same stuff with gendered toys in happy meals.

I wouldn't worry. I'm pretty sure a boy bringing a bunch of pones to school will still get called a faggot on the playground.

M'eh, it is still going to be obvious on the packaging which gender the toys are aimed for.

How the fuck is this news? This isn't even noteworthy other than spergs chimping out, which makes it relevant to us, but I'm shocked that an actual news article was written about this.

Defining genders for toys with a sign or not really isn't a big deal near the end. Kids are generally drawn to the toys and not the other way around. If anything if people wanted to bitch about toys how about the companies that still create gender specific toys instead? Remember when Lego felt the need to create a 'girls' line with cliche shit like juice bars and shopping centers? Where the fuck is grease monkey Barbie or transgender G.I. Joe? And why stop there? Why not create toys to better suit lifestyles kids are used to? Hell, where's my alcoholic Iron Man and and Horse Burger MLP playsets?
Come on toys companies, step up your game.
