The sad thing about Sonju is he isn't that bad. He isn't amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but his line work is pretty solid and he's pretty good with designs and color. He's having to dumb down his abilities for Phils tattoos. He must make the stencil right off Phils drawings, shaky uneven lines and all, and copy it exactly. None of the pictures on Sonjus IG are nearly as bad, and there's a complete lack of any of Phils tattoos. Even Sonju knows he's committing atrocities. Never mind there's one of Phil on there now.

I think whoever owns the tattoo parlor Sonju works at pretty much told him to stop tattooing Phil at the shop. Phil used to tag himself and the photos of his rancid photos to the shops FB constantly. They've all been de-tagged and aren't on the parlors FB feed or Yelp anymore. He still talks about having appointments with Sonju, but I have a feeling he's getting them done in Sonjus garage.

Even if Phil lost count, we can estimate if we know 2 things:
(1) When did Phil start getting tattoos?
(2) How frequently does he get a new tattoo?

It's pretty obvious that Phil has the mentality of a teen-ager. Teens love wearing their identity on their sleeves and have little regards for the long term.

I'm not sure, to be honest. I know actual shops are held to a standard and are inspected. They need to have autoclaves, biohazard bins for used needles, not be obviously filthy, that kind of thing. I want to say in my state it's like restaurants where they give you rating and can shut you down. But you can buy a tattoo gun off eBay and start advertising on Craigslist and it's perfectly legal.

I have been thinking about reaching out to him again, last time I tried I was sorta ignored but I have some other information that he might want to talk about.
Ok, here's a new one with a few comments I have on it:
1) This is the least autistic drawing I've ever seen from Phil. Obviously, Phil didn't draw this. It would actually make a half-way decent tattoo if not for the fact that he plans to tattoo it onto a body that's already covered in childish scribbles.
2) That hashtag. Did he hashtag San Jose? If so, why? Is he in San Jose right now?

Phil has blocked people before for suggesting he set his profile to private so I don't think he'd listen to advice.
Phoenix Flame, the Joker looking motherfucker that Phil is desperately trying to live with, is in San Jose. He most likely copied that off the internet to impress Phil.

I wouldn't expect Phil to follow that rule. He doesn't even follow basic rules like:
1) Shower daily
2) Spend your money on necessities like food and rent before you use it on bondage gear, tattoos or bus tickets
3) Women don't have beards
