Skitzocow Taxman / Kyle Hawkins

Jesus christ this is depressing.

Agreed.

He's just a broken motherfucker trying to find someway to get his pieces back together.

Agreed.

Thank you for the summary, Shitlord. It's appreciated, regardless of the fact that I saw the video anyway.

Tax's views will forever be tied to his name. That's just something that people associate. Misconceptions will naturally arise when he does terribly confusing things, like that salute, but the thing that Tax needs to understand is that if he's going to harbor such views, which he should know go against so many other peoples' views, he can't expect people not to ask questions or make assumptions about his character based on his behavior and his views, two other things people correlate. When people challenge them, he can't be defensive or attempt to justify them in the ways he's been doing. It's just a fact he'd have to accept, but... Tax doesn't seem to like accepting facts.

It's beyond sad that things have come to this point. It's quite obvious he feels he doesn't have any choice other than trying to get to Equestria. If anyone is familiar with the effects and after-effects of acid, do you think his paranoia and despair in that video may have resulted from the trip? I mean, he would have had his paranoia anyway, but do you think it was very likely made worse?

The idea that one could make mistakes so terrible that it becomes impossible to move on from them is something that would terrify many. The consistency and manner of mistakes Tax has made surely would prevent him from coming back to his own community, unless he completely turned himself around, but contrary to what he apparently believes, there are less mistakes he's made than he thinks. I think. He still isn't universally hated or pitied in his life outside the internet, and he could probably start relatively fresh there. If he got some help for his paranoia and anxiety, was critical of his own behavior and feelings, and maybe cleaned himself up a tad, he could still salvage a reasonably enjoyable life here. If he made some friends, stopped thinking so big, pulled away from the net and met recollections to that time he spent here with contrition and lucidity, etc. That's the thing he seems to lack: Clarity. Be it failing to realize that he is at fault for his own actions, and that those actions have consequences, or that the world isn't out to get him, he's delusional on so many levels, and the longer it goes untreated, the longer it tortures him. Unfortunate as it is, he very likely will never receive help for it without some sort of intervention, because of the things he believes getting help will actually do to him; it can be easy at times to forget, when someone is angry or sad about something one may think is silly, that they still take it seriously.

This is a truly incredible video on all accounts. It so thoroughly encapsulates his condition. Perhaps we have the alcohol to thank for that, though; some are regretfully truthful, drunk. I don't think Tax is that bad a person, just that he's very confused. He desperately needs help.

......I really want to reach out to this guy somehow. Watching him destroy himself like this just feels wrong. :(

This is me asking for approval.

I assure you, nothing you could say will stick. This is a job for his family or professionals.

Honestly I doubt he'd wisen up through anything short of some kind of complete shock to his system.

What Meowthkip said. Many people have reached out to him, especially when he was in a better condition than this. He never took any advice. You know how he says, 'I don't need to go to school or apply for a better job! Someone higher-up should recognize my talent and give me a better job!'? He pretty much has the same model of thought with advice. 'I don't need to take anyone's advice! What I'm doing isn't hurting anyone! They're wrong for trying to change me!' Or, 'They're not doing enough to help me!'

I knew this would happen. Are we "that forum" he mentioned in the beginning? He is a paranoid mess, he makes me so nervous. :(

And, yay! I stopped lurking and actually helped for once! Back to my cave...

EDIT: I posted when I only watched it half way, lol. We are the forum! I wonder how long it will take him to join.

Yeah, flailing around and hitting yourself are things autistics do in a rage. He needs to be medicated and to stop drinking alcohol. And holy shit, was he talking about having an acid trip at the beginning, no one should go on acid trips, especially people with such serious mental problems.

Edit: The autistic thing wasn't a joke, I'm being completely serious, just in case anyone gets confused.

You don't say. He probably seriously worsened his paranoia by doing acid.

Yeah, flailing around and hitting yourself are things autistics do in a rage.

It's important to note that the 'hitting yourself' thing may not necessarily be because of rage. Sensory disorders seem to be more common among autistic people, and I've met people who strike their own bodies because they're extremely uncomfortable, and need some sort of way to relieve their discomfort. That said, though, I do think Tax is striking himself out of rage or depression, not something else, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Who knows? Maybe something else is going on with Tax that got him into the habit of hitting himself when angry.

Jesus, how fucking depressing. I can't watch any more of it. Even though I now he's extremely drunk in this video, it's honestly sad to see someone in this kind of state, even if he is a fag who worships a fictional equine wife. I'm also pretty convinced he has some form of autism, since he has these weird jerky movements going on.
I hope he gets some sort of professional help.

I think someone who has his dox should inform local authorities that he is talking so adamently about suicide. I only know his name and that he lives in Indiana, so I cant. But this has reached a point where it doesnt seem to be a dumb tumblrite suicide baiting, this is someone who very well may harm himself in the very near future.

I am worried :( that video hurt. Tax isnt a bad guy. Just a very, very broken guy.

I feel really sad now... damn. (:_(

.....I sent a PM on DeviantArt. It is two in the fricking morning and I'm already beginning to regret this decision. :powerlevel: :powerlevel: :powerlevel:

For a moment I thought that if enough people expressed their concern at once he'd try to make some kind of change, but he is one stubborn person and we are not Amnesty International.

No one was watching Taxman during his trip. Wow. The acid trip was enough, but there's yet more dangerous behavior.

At 4:40 or so he says 'Curio must be so exhausted from watching over [him] all night.' See, this is why it's dangerous to mix delusion and drugs. I never thought I would have to point that out, but... wow. He even says 'Curio passed out' at the end of the video, I think, so that shouldn't count even by his own logic! He rambles on affectionately for the whole video about Curio, and then just stops.

I thought he would be tripping out away from home. How did he get the drug into his house, and why would he do it there, if there are others home?

This is just sad.

I'm not sure why it would be hard to get it into the house. It's a 1/16" square bit of paper.

I can't imagine why you'd do it with people in the house if you don't want it known you're doing it, though. That would be a paranoid experience, and he's already paranoid.

I meant, did he bring it with him from someplace, or did someone send it in the mail and his mom just didn't check the mail, or something. That's what I meant by 'how.' I wonder how reckless he was with bringing it in.

It's not that it would be hard to bring it in, but I wonder about the details. You know?
