Skitzocow Taxman / Kyle Hawkins

Having experienced loved ones who have suffered debilitating mental illness, I'll always have sympathy for anyone in Taxman's shoes. However, it's a sad reality that at this distance, there is very little, if anything, anyone here can do to help him. Ultimately, it's up to him and his loved ones to get the professional help he needs. And since he has publicly put all these videos out there, there's nothing wrong in watching them. But while I enjoy the bizarre non-sequitur nature of his videos, it's still a sad, unsettling thing to see a man disintegrate before your eyes. :(

For anyone who either works with mentally ill people or who have mentally ill family members, Taxman is more morbid curiosity than lols. I'm not going to sit here and rant about how we should be helping him, because we shouldn't. Any interference from an unknown source will just push him further and "validate" his paranoia. Like most lolcows it is best to just sit back and observe.

Like those before me have said, in a similar fashion to Strikerwolf, if he IS trolling, he's trolling himself more than us. In either event it is almost like looking at a case study.

I could see one of two things happening in the coming weeks, or even days:

-He's pulling a very convincing ruse cruise, and things will simply get ridiculous or clearly "scripted". Probably will start actively reaching out to the farms in an attempt to garner more attention, again it will be very obvious. Someone can only convincingly fake schizophrenia like this for so long before they run out of material and energy.

-This is real, and he is degrading very quickly as many people do at the onset of schizophrenia. I could see him holding it together for a month or two tops, but things will continue to fall apart. He has already lost his friends, and as MANY mentally ill people do, especially ones with schizo disorders, he has already turned to drugs to self medicate and try to reconcile his reality with the real world, and he will likely continue to try more drugs at a higher frequency in order to "stay" in his world. No one can say for sure what this will do to his family, but usually it is nothing good, and he will end up even more alone, further exacerbating things.

If anyone is curious to learn about schizophrenia or see what it looks like, there are many case studies, lectures, and personal videos on youtube.

Alright, continue the shitposting.

The fact that there's still a lot of them suggests that this is a wrong statement
Besides if they all died, there would be one less place for you to post inflammatory statements!!

I was thinking just the same thing! To paraphrase C.P. Cavafy's poem "Waiting For The Barbarians":

"Because it's night now - and no Bronies.
A few folk have come back from Bronycon.
They say there are Bronies no longer.

So what will we do now without Bronies?
Those people were a sort of solution."

Move onto SU fans, I suppose. (Though in my opinion, they're a very poor substitute. *sigh* )

Re: Taxman's latest video and his guaranteed green card to Equestria - I always crack up when I hear anyone start talking about the "chosen few". "Ah, yes - the chosen few, the new aristocracy, the hand-picked elite - a privileged class that does not include me, 'cause I'm a total fucking loser..."

Why is it you never hear advocates of a "new elite" talk that way? Hmmm? What could the reason possibly be? (end sarcasm)

He talks about how he's not comfortable with people not responding when he makes other people uncomfortable with these outbursts of his. And how the evil spirit cursing his drugs sent dreams out to him.

You know, because it makes less sense that dreams are simply a manifestation of the thoughts and feelings held deepest at a given time and his fears about doing such a dangerous drug are resulting in the nightmares.

Many, many pony porn commission artists are very grateful for his trolling them by commissioning porn from them.

Am I the only one who thinks the fucking bronie shit is the real problem and not the drugs and booze?

Drugs and booze gave us Jim Morrison, Charles Bukowski, Raymond Carver and Ken Kesey.

I'm not 100% sure what a fucking "brony" actually is but I know it's bullshit.

If not MLP, this man would have latched onto and obsessed about something else. It's a problem with his mind, not with the show. It is, however, worth noting that the show's bright and colorful image is what leads utterly depressed people like Tax to latch onto its image so readily and thoroughly. Under any circumstances, it goes without say that continued exposure to this obsession is harmful and he ought to take a step back from everything he's obsessing about, from MLP to politics.

I just heard from a reliable source that Tax claimed to have taken fifty Datura seeds. If he's telling the truth, well, I think we all know what to expect.

Edit: That was nine hours ago. Apparently he's still alive, he just sent a message to my friend.

Edit 2: Actually, it came out to more than that. These are direct quotes from Tax:

"I actually took the entire bag of seeds."
"I took the ones that were left, so it came out to 100 seeds all together."

Well I guess he'll turn up on the news soon enough then.
This whole story just makes me sad though.

Edited my last post. He's still alive, somehow. How long does it take for it to kill someone? I read on one site which may or may not be a reliable source that 10 seeds is a recommended 'starting dose.' I haven't done any more research than that, so that's about as credible as anything Tax claims right now, as far as I know.

Oh god, I heard the high from those are just weird. You find yourself doing things without knowing why, you can supposedly hallucinate and have no idea and have trouble reminding yourself. If he grounded them up and took a shitload then he's going to be weird for a few days and then feel like shit for a week or two after. Maybe more.

This is a drug where it seems like he's legit trying to create the hallucination that he's in MLP land because as something taken for recreation it has a ton of bad side effects that can last a long time. Let's hope he makes a video within the next day or so because if he ground up a lot and took even half of those seeds then he'll be tripping hard for awhile and not in the kind of way where you can pull your shit together and reel it in a bit.

I think he actually believes one of these drugs will somehow open the portal to Equestria.
That seemed to be what he was implying when he said that the Datura would be a "last resort if nothing else works".
What would he mean by "works" if not that it would finally open the portal?

The whole trip from Datura is to see things but not know they aren't real. Supposedly you're convinced that what you are seeing is legit happening while also feeling out of it enough for it to not seem out of the ordinary. I think this shows that while he WANTS to open a portal to the MLP place he knows he can't so he's going to try to create the feeling with a dangerous drug that most people don't enjoy the trip from. Why? So he can talk to a cartoon pony and not feel like it's imaginary.

Fucking bronies.

He believes that it's possible to physically go to Equestria. "When I go to Equestria, I'll have a new body, a new life, with a loving husband, free from all the damage I've done to my body in this life." He talks about it in his videos sometimes.

I doubt this is a ruse or an attempt at trolling in any way. Evidence of this behavior goes back far too long and with eerily similar accounts from any and all sources that display it objectively.

Taxman exhibits several physical manifestations of mental disturbances on a very consistent basis over time. His constant hair mussing, rubbing the hands together, facial ticks. These happen regardless if there's any evidence of him consuming alcohol or not. Even if he was drunk or high on something, being under the influence would cause you to forget all these little details to keep up appearances.

You can almost watch with precision timing his agitation increase and these manifestations appear and become more frequent as soon as his thought process falls into the feedback loop of what very well could be some kind of serious schizophrenia. The dude has a dangerous mental problem beyond any love of pastel cartoon horses. They are just the vehicle for his obsession.
