She'd have to do something so stupid, the word "monumental" wouldn't cover it. For example, if she was the one who called in the bomb threat to that hospital like some people are suspecting her of doing, WaPo would just publish a statement calling her an "austere activist."

While that's true enough, I don't think he got where he is by accepting pointless losses. If the WP can mitigate its losses or become profitable again with a little downsizing, he'll do it. Especially if as a bonus they can cut loose some problem children by doing so.
