Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
So what do we call this and Ben Collins getting railed? The Journocaust? The Presstallnacht?
I paraphrase one of the worst unintentionally funny movies of all time when I suggest the following: "when I banned you from Twitter, you called it the worst day of your life. For me, it was Thursday."

The thing Taylor Lorenz does not understand is that she does not have a fan base. Journalist generally speaking does not have a fan base. She is only relevant when covering someone who actually creates something. So when she goes online for support from her "community" the reality of it not existing hit`s her like a ton of bricks.
Journalists do not have friends. They rarely (if ever) have fans. At best, they have a network of contacts and acquaintances. The more charismatic ones might even be on cordial terms with their colleagues, but in true "no honor among thieves" fashion there is absolutely no loyalty among journalists unless it's beneficial in the moment and they will happily backstab each other to be first to break a story or curry favor with someone who can bolster their career.

They live in a world filled with two kinds of people: people who know who they are and actively hate them (victims, colleagues and politicians alike), and people who don't know who they are and don't give a shit.

This is one of those revelations that really hits journalists hard. It's one of the few things in their careers that actually gets to them and causes genuine anguish once they realize it. Take away people who hate their guts either personally for something they've done to them or generally because they just hate the press, and people who don't care at all, and these people are left with essentially nothing. No confidants, no close friends, no long-lasting intimate relationships, nothing.

How unfortunate but you wonder why she’s making it out to be the biggest deal in the world if it’s a temp ban. Does Twitter notify you if your suspension is temporary or is it just the same message regardless of which suspension you receive?

She's a drama queen which is why she's mysteriously bounced around from place to place before landing at the WaPo (for now). Elon seems to be sending a message that journalists will be treated the same as regular users, as well as having a suspension in the books to justify a permaban down the road if they don't improve. I know people would get warned a few times before the big ban so this might be similar.

Taylor wasted an entire Saturday night crying on Instagram Live, trying to ban evade, and pretending that her friends wanted to come over and have a party. She has no life and looked unhinged and old while ranting to strangers. Beautiful.

She claims suspension is permanent. Far less credible is her assertion Musk's decision was without any valid reason.

Omg her shaking camera and being on TikTok is so rich. What are the odds she gets the axe in the Washington Post layoffs? I would bet well over 50%, especially considering how she’s a giant liability and provides nothing of substance.

I'm kinda wondering if Elon's goal is actually to drive all the progressives off the platform... which is weird while Trump is running his thing (that I think most people have never even bothered looking at -- or maybe that's just me). He's certainly looking to them like he's more biased [which isn't true] than Twitter used to be against right-wingers... but the left absolutely will believe that without a doubt.

If he's doing that intentionally, I really don't see what the end goal is.
He's certainly strayed far from the "I'm a free speech maximalist, if it doesn't break the law..."

I actually think banning those tracking his plane and stalking him are the least egregious of the bans, even though it's what's gotten the most attention. This... yeah Taylor Lorenz does some doxxing, but it seems rather surprising. Since she "ban evaded" by the rules I guess hers is now permanent.
I don’t think he’s driving off all leftists from the platform, just the most toxic people. If you get rid of the journalists and hate mobs on Twitter it might be a tolerable site. Most of the major boycott/influence campaigns originate on Twitter, I haven’t seen anything big come from other platforms that got any tractions (except maybe YouTube).

She already caused them trouble and has been nothing but an embarrassment. With Elon flexing his wings like a fire breathing dragon burning a village, it might be time for a few sacrifices.

You misgendered people.....OH FUCK STOP THE PRESSES THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON FIRE.
Those opposed to transgenders and transgenderism are not the ones misgendering. Men who think they are women, women who think they are men misgender themselves. Those who speak out against this madness utter truths when so many insist on lies.

How valuable is a geriatric journoscum though? Elon Musk might’ve considered it if she was able to bear him another child, but that ship has sailed. Too bad her buddy Ben Collins is also suspended, now there’s no one to whine she’s been suspended. I bet there’s more to this story and that the suspensions are a result of other activities they’ve done and Elon discovered. I bet Taylor and her cabal of journoscum colluded over Twitter to do some fucked up stuff.

I'm not saying she's worth much, but it's a token of good will and the Washington Post wanting to stay on the platform. And the thing is she's been annoying, very annoying. Getting rid of her is good PR as well.

Just like the dreaded gamer gate of yesteryear. They get a little push back it will be their boogieman for the rest of their lives.
Now all we need to do is get Elon to tweet something about gamergate so that we can totally own the libs!

I do kind of hate myself for making that joke.

STOP STOP MY PENIS CAN ONLY GET SO ERRECT :story:

Edit:
Last year we had the bitter horror and laughter of the Motherfucker saga, this year we were brought to near sadness with the Keffals + journos + Liz Fong Jones twitter cabal trying to murder the site. Unlike the latest jail saga, we've been having a really fantastic past few weeks to make up for it. It's nice. Last year's big sava didn't offer as much closure for those responsible (but consequences for Chris were had and we had Gunt's Portugal adventures to cheer us up) so this year let's celebrate the little wins.

For posterity:

Thanks Null, thanks mods (who are fags), thanks secret Null network of financial legal & tech support, and thank you, fellow Kiwis. The days are getting shorter and darker in the northern hemisphere, let's celebrate these little lights this winter while we can. :heart-full:
We got Year of the Chud after all. It's a Christmas miracle.
