There's a ton of those. Apparently in China, there aren't Good Samaritan laws or something similar, and if someone survives getting hit, you can be on the hook to pay for them. So it's more economical just to kill them and pay the fine.

Most "symptoms" humans experience from sickness is not caused by whatever you have, it's caused by your immune system reacting to it. These people really think the goal of an entire swath of viruses is to make snot come out your nose don't they? (Narcissists apparently think even viruses are interested only in them personally.)

As an aside, the "critical flaw" in Zero COVID is that humanity couldn't actually survive it. China isn't following what the Zero COVID lunatics like Taylor want, China only shuts down areas where the outbreak hits a certain level not the entire country indefinitely. This is totally normal in China because totalitarian states shut down travel and everything else in certain areas all the time. If you told Taylor she couldn't travel to libsoftiktok's house or get her avocado toast delivered or whatever we'd never hear the end of it.

I know lolcows aren’t capable of self-reflection but at what point do you realise that writing low-grade propaganda for the government probably isn’t a morally righteous thing to do? I know she sees herself as part of the elite class so probably believes it’s her duty to capture the hearts and minds manipulate the working class at the behest of her overlords. But surely there comes a time where you think to yourself, maybe I’m in the wrong here and do a little inwards thinking?

She's not completely wrong, though. There is not lasting immunity to any respiratory virus because of their own nature. That's why we, in theory, need vaccines every year. But what she doesn't say -and many people conveniently ignore too- is that these types of vaccines aren't really that much effective. People working in healthcare needs them because they're heavily exposed to virus and pathogens, but normal people really don't.

Taylor ain't afraid of covid, though. She's afraid of viruses because, my theory is, she's a germophobic. You know why I think that? Because there is a (small) link between germophobia and racism/classicism. That's why she needs $20 toast avocado... because $1 toast avocado is for dirty, poors, ewww... those poors are gonna make her food dirty and she's gonna get sick. This is waaaaay common among progressive people, they disguise their classicism and racism with "I'm buying expensive things because it's the best, cleaner, and healthier", when what they really mean is that they don't want something that has been touched by someone who is inferior to them.
