I mean, besides the cliched bible humping crap, the most obvious answer is "Money, power, chicks and blow. But, since drugs are illegal and the money we're making is drying up more and more. Dont get me strated on chicks, cause I dunno what tree they're sniffing, cause it sure aint mine. As for power, well here I am recording a video for a bunch of kids and losers who throw me some pennies as I dance like a monkey for them. So, why dont you tell me about power, guys"

Shadow realm, fate of the world over card games, invisible guns, etc all originate from the 4kids dub. YGO is silly, but the 4kids dub did it (and many other anime for that matter) no favors. If they didn't like poking fun at the series, TFS should've focused on the dumb localizations. The problem was that A LOT of people have a huge fondness for those changes. Lots of people like the changes in the YGO dub but once they learn about it, rarely will anyone will tell you that they made the anime better or have a problem mocking them.

In the start they had some gags on the "unoccupied buildings and helicopters" the Saiyans destroys. YGO changes are interesting that the shadow realm is a cool idea that fits better than the original.

Yeah, that sucked. It's amazing how much they don't have it anymore.

It's also interesting that this is 100% a Kaiser project with no Lani or Taka at all, not even voices.

That shouldn't surprise you at all. Although I'd be lying if the Death Note bit didn't make me chuckle.....Yeah that bar is low.

Honestly it's just AI came along and now suddenly...we can just all make them say this stuff in their actual voices and relatively well. I don't think there's really a place in the internet for this anymore. We're in a world where Naruto is dropping n bombs on my shorts feed.
 
turns out the people everyone knew were the funniest part of dbza were also the only funny part. guaranteed that without lani and taka, it's just kaiserneko and megami33 writing most of the series, and if ygotas can't do it, i have no faith in either of them. megami has always been mostly a VA no matter how you slice it, and kaiserneko, despite having more to do with a lot of the work, is obviously a voicemonkey first. lani and taka have always visibly taken the work they do with it seriously, and treated it as an effort to improve themselves past just doing fan work. it's so clear that they want to do more, and yet everyone around them seems to have taken their toll. i wonder if we'll ever see them in a new project like this again.
 
What year is it again? I thought abridged series went out of style by the mid 2010s.
 
SMA already exists. Unless they're willing to fill this new one up with lots of bulimia jokes, it already fails.
The original series never finished and actually ended on a cliffhanger so honestly I'd rather someone shoved money at the original creator and got her to finish it with the original crew. But I think part of the reason it didn't finish was she got a real job, I could see how SMA might not look good on a resume.
