Not every internet page, app, website etc etc pushing ads for money or generally being a mass-marketing campaign to push sales and money.
I miss the websites designed by autists, for the pure sake of being able to do it, or to inform, or to share a passion, not where everything was just money, politics, pop-culture, ads, money, more politics, more ads, cookie pop-ups, regional restrictions cause money etc etc etc

DVD players. My family have a whole wall of them from every genre but they're going obsolete now so they're just collecting dust.

And those MP3 players had different designs and personalities you don't get with smartphones. I even miss portable CD players and Tape cassettes on that principle. Techmoan's video on Minidisc players he bought wholesale makes you appreciate all the designs a media player can go through.
Speaking of Minidisc players, I went back to CDs for the albums I liked after selling my Vinyl just to have them and I pickup a Sony CD/Mini Disc unit for my small Hi Fi that is pretty cool. Not only you can copy CDs to Minidisc but transfer the CD info as well. Even though I don't have any use for it, its still a pretty cool piece of audio tech I can appreciate.

Those older cases tended to have viciously sharp metal in them, if you want optical space, case design for those peaked in the late aughts, I would go for those. I still see cases from that era for sale new, ie Cooler Master HAF X.

Maybe I'm dumb and this has been a thing forever but weir router shit with ISPs.
I moved recently and my ISP couldn't just transfer my account because the cheap deal I wanted was for new customers only so they set me up as a new customer and sent me a new router. I plugged in the old one in my new house because I have all my devices set up on it and its easier that setting everything up again, it connected to the internet fine and been using it for weeks. Until this week when shit just died. Wi-fi signal is good, internet is connected but nothing loads on any device.
After some troubleshooting turns out the router has an admin account to log into the settings but also another account your ISP gives you that connects it to the interner, the old router was set up with my old account which was shut down this week so guess when the router pinged back to them it said fuck off this guy is gone (even though the router settings say internet connected). Had to manually update it with my new account info and it works fine again. I'm a dumbass with limited networking knowledge but why was it working before in a different house with a different connection until the ISP shut down the old linked account at their end which locked the router down. Why is my hardware linked to anything other than its own admin account to fuck around with the settings?

I miss when computers came in all bizarre shapes and sizes than standard towers. Take microcomputers as an AIO package, turn on, it's there, do whatever the fuck you want. Load a cassette, fuck off to smoke and by time you've finished the pack, it may have loaded or error'd so repeat the process. They have a charm that modern shit really can't replicate, even an Apple II is pleasant to use still just to fuck with due to its simplicity compared to the mess modern Apple is. IBM and its compatibles whilst okay, really fucked everything.
Whilst I know having many systems clogs the market and software, I just liked the freedom of choice. Fuck Atari, I'm getting an Amiga instead. C64? Nah, Beeb Micro or ZX Speccy. Copying tapes and just enjoying fucking about on it, since more you put in you got out. Nowadays it's GUI everything and shit.
Also whilst obvious, the complicated nature of modern machines when comparing to their older counterparts. An Amiga or Atari you generally could get around what everything was doing and figure out how to fuck with it. I have 0 clue whatever the metal in my main machine is doing at one time, what it's running, or whatever shit is going on.

I'm not proud to admit this, but I miss facebook before their conversion to Judaism. There's so many ads and so much algorithm bias that I haven't looked at my account for years. I'd rather just text than be constantly bombarded with bullshit I don't want to see. (Also, KF is probably the closest thing to social media I can do without getting banned... I tend not to last long on sites with any form of censorship in effect.)

If you're into DVD extras, those aren't always on Blu-ray releases, and many aren't available anywhere online. I feel like DVDs with exclusive extras are gonna be a more well known, sought after thing in a few years.

Something that used(?) to be really annoying about ISPs was them tying the internet hole to the MAC address of whatever was plugged into it. Plug in a new device to handle traffic and then wait 30 minutes before it's allowed to work. I don't understand why they did that, it's not like I'm switching from their device to something else.

I tried 2 or 3 ecigs. (Blu), last year.
I haven't smoked in over 20 years, even then I was a casual pack/week. Mostly for stress/drinking.
But vape is nothing like a real cigarette. Taste, process, hit. All suck balls.
Construction old-timers agree with me too. It might be better for you, but you may as well use nicorette.
